Very nice wrap, both stuffing and the wrap itself that reminds me of the Caribbean roti skin. We got two wraps and seafood chowder as well. Chowder is not cream rich fat and felt fairly healthy from the mashy potato texture with an evident wine taste hint. Interior is super cute too, colourful and Scandinavian.

Wow, this nordic fare offers amazingly unique and delightful flavors and textures. The potato-based “tortilla” used for the wraps is called Lefse and it is low in gluten and lighter than a traditional tortilla. The result is feeling satiated without being overly stuffed. Great flavors and food, plus counter-space dining with a super friendly vibe will keep us coming back to this neighborhood gem.

This place never disappoints. The food is excellent. The service is friendly. The establishment is clean.
I live in the neighborhood, but I would definitely come here if I didn’t.
Thank you for your consistency, Viking Soul Food.

Loveee the fooddd. Small place but the food was awesome. We both got the bird brains wrap and were very satisfied. The garlic crackers were sick a nice little starter, too!

Great music, loved the decor, the owners/staff were incredible and welcoming and the food! Well it was delicious. Perfect amount, just tasted really fresh. I got the mushroom and hazelnut in a wrap and it was super crisp and refreshing while still being hearty and filling. The house soda (elderflower) was really good, and the THC drink my boyfriend got was super super tasty. Our new favorite spot, we’ll definitely be back!
Also note to one of the owners: you asked my partner where he got his shirt – he thrifted it but the label is koala country.

This place is a gem! My partner and I visited for the first time over the weekend (2/14/2026). We will definitely be returning. We both got the meatball lefse wrap. I can honestly say I’ve never tasted anything like it! The root vegetable champ was EVERYTHING. I loved it. And the lingonberry iced tea tied it all together. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. 10/10 dining experience. We will be back to try the troll snack!

Such a magical spot with authentic, unique food, and wonderful friendly service. My wife and I rarely get to have a date (3 young kids) and we simply loved our time relaxing and sampling so many great dishes.

Great food gets really busy but I did go weekend for lunch. The seating can get limited but some outdoor seating available for nice days. It is a grab and go kinda food some of it like a gyro wrap. The seafood chowder was amazing and the bird brain which doesn’t have brain in it but chicken and I believe some walnuts.

Whoa. Some of the best tasting, unique, healthy food I’ve ever had. Great staff service, and owners work in the kitchen regularly and are super nice. But seriously, the food is spectacular. It’s unlike any other cuisine in portland, interesting but not “weird” bright, savory flavors. Try the Pølse Lefse and Kraken Snack. That’s my go to. And, I know it might sound strange, but try the pickled herring, too. Never had pickled fish before but since I had it there, it’s become a staple in my fridge.

If I ever move far away from the Woodstock area, this place will be the thing I miss most.
