It’s a drive thru barn selling cute coffee but only cute no taste ❌ think it’s just cute for pictures but the coffee itself wasn’t worth it especially for 2 coffee’s for $17. They even beat Starbucks prices. Tasted watered down and just wasn’t it. Got the rainbow cookie latte and they ran outta rainbow cookie so the guy gave me a brownie instead. The menu is tiny to see

I visited around Halloween specifically to get my hands on one of those lattes served inside an actual pumpkin. The decorations were 10/10. The whole place was decked out in a fall theme that I absolutely loved. It’s a drive-thru only spot, and while it’s known for getting incredibly crowded, we went right when they opened on a Thursday morning and were able to breeze through with no line.
While it is a fantastic place for photo ops, keep a few things in mind before you go:
• The Drink: Honestly, the coffee itself wasn’t spectacular. You’re definitely paying more for the presentation and the “cool factor” than a high-quality brew.
• The Cost: It is very expensive. Make sure you ask for the price before you order, as it can be a bit of a shock when you reach the window.
Final Verdict: Go for the aesthetic and the cute photos, but don’t expect a life-changing latte. If you want the experience without the wait, try to visit on a weekday morning like we did!

The Barn has a great atmosphere and a lot of potential, but unfortunately the beverages really missed the mark during our visit. We tried several drinks—the ginger, snowman, cookie dough, and Christmas-themed drinks—and sadly, none of them lived up to expectations.
The flavors felt unbalanced and underwhelming, especially for specialty and seasonal beverages that should be warm, comforting, and memorable. A few tasted artificial, others lacked depth, and overall they just didn’t feel thoughtfully crafted.
That said, the place itself has a nice vibe and the concept is solid, which makes this more disappointing than anything. With better attention to drink recipes, quality, and consistency, The Barn could be much better. For now, though, the beverages definitely need improvement.

I visited The Barn in Merrick and it was such a fun seasonal adventure! I took the LIRR from Jamaica (just about an hour ride) and it was absolutely worth the trip.
The drinks here are unique and totally live up to the hype. My favorites were the Pumpkin Latte (so rich and festive), the S’mores Latte (a must-try), and the Apple Cider Shake (refreshing and delicious). I also loved that the Apple Cider Donut Latte came topped with a fresh doughnut from @JerichoCiderMill—it was the perfect fall touch.
Not only were the drinks amazing, but the staff was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Between the cozy vibes, tasty treats, and friendly service, The Barn really made my fall day special.

TikTok made me do it! lol and I have to say I was not disappointed. I visited during the weekday – walk in and I must say i received incredible service. The fall decor was such a vibe and my chai in a real pumpkin made it 10 times better. Worth the trip!

I had high hopes of coming here for the first time. I ordered the lucky charm latte which was pretty good. But the strawberry cold foam matcha was disgusting. It was grey by the time I came home, it tasted like dirt water. For over $8 it should be considered to be taken off the menu. I know matcha as its supposed to be green, but this was something else. It didn’t even taste like milk and the “cold foam was all watered down. I don’t like to leave such reviews, but that drink needs to be looked into and not be offered! Very disappointing experience.

The Barn in Merrick has quickly become one of my go-to spots. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect whether you’re grabbing coffee, brunch, or a quick treat. Their seasonal drinks are always a hit — the pumpkin latte is especially amazing in the fall ☕. I’ve also loved pairing it with their fresh pastries and pies (the pumpkin pie with the latte is a must).
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about making guests feel at home. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and everything tastes fresh and made with care.

it’s such a cute drive through if you want a quick sweet treat! the people inside were very sweet and they were so quick in making my drink. i got the glass bear latte and i love how the cup is reusable. i also went to get the heart cup drink earlier this month and i love how it came with the cakepop and little bear keychain. both drinks are on the sweeter side so if you have a sweet tooth, this place is for you

The apple cider donuts and iced chai were really good. The costumer service was terrible. Zero communication. I sat at the tables but no one came over so I waited by the car line for 20 minutes and employees just kept staring at me and didn’t take my order until I had to poke my head in. This was 11/1 at 5:30pm. Two young girls were working. If it was busy I would understand but it was very slow and there were only a few cars. There were a ton of people also sitting at the tables that also had no idea how to order. I want to also say that the previous time I came, the older employees were so so friendly and came up to each individual table to take everyone’s orders and were chatting with customers. The employees today however were incredibly unfriendly. I really wanted to like coming here but if the service continues to be like this then I won’t be coming back.
