This is THEE best place for good eat, great service and an even better price! Very knowledgeable about food allergies and safety came first. Was able to eat their un-breaded sauced wings and fries with no reaction. The food is fresh! My best friend order the chefs salad and I’ve never smelled a salad so fresh. You get more than your monies worth. Priced reasonably and great portions. Even have prepackaged gluten free desserts. 11/10 recommended, we will be visiting AGAIN! Oh their kitchen is OPEN UNTIL 12! Called 5 places to eat at 10 and all kitchens were closed.

GREAT food. For my most recent takeout order, I got the Meat Lovers Cheesesteak, Bacon Cheese Fries, and a bag of Dad’s Double Chocolate Cookies. The last bite of that cheesesteak was as delicious as the first one.
While this particular visit to STL Steak and Cake was for a takeout order, I’ve also dined in there several times. I love the service, and the dining area isn’t too noisy, either.
Pretty much everything on their menu is great – cheesesteaks, burgers, whole wings, hot dogs, etc.
To me, STL Steak and Cake is one of those hidden gems in the St. Louis area. DEFINITELY check them out.

This establishment has been around for a while. They were located one block away, but did not have any inside seating at all. I stopped in for lunch today, and one of the Wednesday specials. STL Cheesesteak, and fries…$8.99. The young woman @ the counter was really nice. I loved the meal(although I only ate half of the sandwich). Inside was clean, bright, and open. Lots of choices to eat. Oh, did I mention all the delicious baked goods they have?! I will be back in to try other items very soon.

I was excited to try a local neighborhood restaurant for the first time but the piece of cake I was sold had green mold in the center. Extremely disappointed and will not eat here again. Check your food before you eat it.
Edited to add: I did receive a prompt, full refund for my meal, (because who doesn’t lose their appetite from eating molded food) and an explanation that stock had not been rotated .. alas it was accompanied by a very condescending email and response to this review. Who’s to say it’s an “isolated incident” if staff is not properly rotating old food out. If you’re so proud of your positive reviews you shouldn’t be so rude and defensive about one honest review from a rightfully dissatisfied customer. So, I stand by my will not patronize this establishment, now for service and quality.

Went with a group of friends, and the food was amazing! Philly was huge, fries were delicious and enough for pure table of 5. Shared a Brookie with a friend, and hit the spot. Will definitely be back!

Can’t beat the price. Service staff is so nice. And food is top notch. Honestly, $4 for a huge pretzel? $11 for a burger AND fries?! Good drinks specials?! Soooo good and me and my partner both eat for the price of one meal elsewhere. Love this place!!!

Found this restaurant on social media gave them a shot and have had no regrets since finding them. The food is great! There’s multiple choices of options from wraps, burgers, chicken to cheesesteak.
