Second time coming and enjoyed the fried fish tacos that are only available on Fridays but had left overs Saturday that I devoured.
We also got the chorizo egg scramble that comes with beans rice queso fresco and fresh made corn tortillas that are amazing.
The cafe de olla is also good, no need for cream or sugar on my end.

We stopped here after shopping at Sun Valley Mall. It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor dining. Nice decor with a small bar and a TV on the wall. Music was playing in the background. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They took our drink order and brought us chips and salsa right away. I wish the salsa had a little kick to it. It was really mild, but delicious. I ordered the 3 street tacos with 1 asada, l chicken, and one pastor. All were great, but the chicken was my favorite.

I read some reviews and thought I would check this place out because people made some nice comments. BAD IDEA!! Me and a few other people were waiting until they opened at 11am so I was hopeful. Once inside, I ordered two plates of Chilaquiles Verdes with steak for my spouse and I. I was the first person to put an order in because I was getting it to-go. 30 min later, the waitress came over and told me (and all the other people) the kitchen printer wasn’t working so they didn’t get any of the orders started. I know mistakes happen and it wasn’t a big deal although you see a bunch of people inside the very small restaurant so why no one in the kitchen questioned not getting any orders sooner is beyond me. I was going to look past the issue. However, once I got my food 50 min later, there was no offer or anything to discount my order, give a free drink or anything. That was strike number 2…Strike 3 was the food itself. The Chilaquiles were literally only the steak on top of chips with salsa Verde, some crema (sour cream), chopped red onions, and sprinkle of cheese. NO EGGS?! No cilantro?? And the steak was an extra $8.??!! Definitely not worth the heavy price tag and I will never come back.

This place is a total gem in Concord—I’m so glad I finally tried it! The deep-fried quesadilla was absolutely delicious. The food is clearly made to order and tastes incredibly fresh.

What really sets this place apart is the customer service. Everyone was super friendly and personable. I loved hearing the backstory of this family-owned business; it’s a great atmosphere where Mom is in the kitchen cooking and the Son is at the bar.

It’s exactly the kind of local business you want to support. Between the great prices, the cozy ambiance, and the high-quality food, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

First time here. Friendly, felt like home! Food was excellent. I’m a snob when it comes to Mexican food. I grew up only eating homemade Mexican food. This place was great in every way. Don’t be discouraged cause it’s not a huge place. Food is 100% worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

The deep fried Quesadilla and beer battered Fish Tacos were amazing. The quesadilla was fried to perfection with cheese, carne asada and lettuce, the beer battered fish cooked perfect with red cabbage and a aioli sauce that complimented the fish perfectly. Skip the rice and beans. Friendly staff, Chris was very helpful explaining the specials and menu. The owner was also very friendly too. They have a small inside seating area but also have a large side outdoor patio to eat at.
The watermelon agua fresca was very refreshing too

This spot is AMAZING. My boyfriend found it while we were in town on a short visit and I already want to go back. First thing we noticed was the great service. The entire staff was extremely kind, attentive, and great vibes all around. We ordered the birria tacos and the quesadilla. Both were delicious but definitely recommend trying the birria!!! The quesadilla was also great and stuffed with lots of toppings.

Love this spot and would love to come back. 10/10 highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!
