Honestly, since the management change, this location has fallen apart. I received old, dried-up wings. It was about an hour and a half before closing, and the kitchen was already wrapping up and cleaning, so the food sat under the heat lamp for a while. I understand the lack of staff, but it’s a shame that the brand’s integrity is being lost. I never leave reviews because this is a spam email, but I had to for this experience on February 26th. I hope things improve once the staffing situation improves.

I visited the Triplet’s Blue Store Chicken for a quick bite during the lunch hour. The chicken was fresh and hot.
However, I’ve always liked the side of red beans, and today it wasn’tan option. I’m not sure if that was only for the day or a permanent removal. Hopefully, it was just temporary. I was not pleased with the shrimp fried rice at all. There wasn’t a shrimp to be found. I think there should be more vegetables and eggs included in the dish.

First time going to this location. On 10.29.2022 Saturday. Entrance clean, inside clean, two male cashiers very inviting, waiting less than two minutes, food placed on plate neat, (3 wings fried golden brown, fries hot and edible, two eggs rolls good) no complaints on this review but will go again, so I’ll see what happens then but for now overall experience was great. I ate most of my fries on my way home to good to let get cold.

Wings are very reasonably priced and I appreciate the fact that when you order a wing, it comes with all parts of the wing (drummer, flat, and tip). The wings have great crunch and decent flavor. The shrimp fried rice came with a good amount of juicy shrimp and scallions. There isn’t really a place to sit and eat though so this spot is more for takeout.

This place used to be my favorite Blue Store as the fried chicken dark meat had always been plump and juicy. The last two times, I found the meat to be more dried up and the drumsticks were quite small compared to the ones I used to get before. Their red bean and rice is good, but I was quite disappointed at the large order I got today: mostly rice (around 85%) with only an anemic thin layer and helping of the red beans and sausage. Think they could have done a lot better and not be so chintzy for what they charged for the red beans and rice.

Staff member stated she forgot previous customer’s red beans, so I was trying to pay attention to my order fulfillment. Epic fail on my part when she handed me my order and stated “everything is there,” I was stupid enough to believe her and now I am missing fried rice.

First time we ate here, the food was amazing. Went back this evening grabbed a 9 piece and the only thing that was not pink was the legs. They need to monitor the chicken temp and make sure it’s completely cooked.

The best fried chicken and shrimp fried rice combo in Baton Rouge. People travelled far to get them. Despite in polystyrene box, the fried chicken stayed crunchy and the fried rice was a better version of PF Chang but only at a fraction of their price.
