This place was amazing. From the food to the wait staff, everything was top notch. Our Giovanni ( i spelled that wrong) was excellent. He was attentive but not overly doing it like a lot of places I’ve been. One item i highly recommend is the garlic bread. It was hot and cheesy and super soft. I would go back just for that. My wife ordered the ravioli and it was superb. I had the chicken parm which was good, but the chicken was a little dry. I still would order it again. Definitely would eat there again.

I absolutely adore this place. I’ve been coming here for the last 8 years. The quality of the food is consistent and outstanding. Tonight I got the Galician octopus and the Maine lobster and shrimp lemon gnocchi. Chefs kiss. Alex was incredibly pleasant and helpful while taking my order over the phone to ringing me out. She’s a ray of sunshine and she’s the perfect person to have greeting customers. Thank you again for ANOTHER 10/10 experience

I celebrated my birthday a few days ago with my family, and I really enjoyed the appetizers. I especially loved the octopus, it was amazing! I also tried the mushroom risotto, and it was delicious. The enclosed patio is perfect, especially if you have kids, very private. Our server was fantastic, and at the end, she surprised me with a delicious cake and a candle. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Tiny portions, expensive, pasta was hard and weird, even though it looked really pretty. My dad’s biggest problem was with the server, she kind of forgot about us and it was my mom’s birthday and we wanted them to put a candle in something for her but the server forgot and by the time she came to check on us, everyone was annoyed so we just left. 🙁

So we grew up with OGGI in miami. We knew the food, the service, the quality. This is far off. And we went on A Saturday night. Children greated us and sat us. The server was upset, and when we asked about OGGI he knew nothing of it.

The food was burnt. The drinks were mega over priced and also, not great. We got the house sangria and the french Martini, the menu head liners. Both over sweet and lacking.

The food. We knew oggi very well, so i only need to try two things, the Bruschetta and the Crab ravioli. The Bruschetta was burnt. It looked like texas toast, tomatoes and garlic covering the toast, and then two slivers of Parmesan. No bueno!

The crab ravioli was good. But i wouldnt come back here. And we wont. I did enjoy a taste of a memory that i once loved.

A family style restaurant. Our server was friendly and everything was served in a timely manner. The octopus was a bit over salty. Pastas and entrees tasted nice. Squid ink pasta and trout were pretty good. They also offer daily specials, which would be on the more expensive side but more choices.

Nice authentic Italian restaurant in Ballantyne area! The pasta is a bit pricey ($36), but the free bread was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely try the mussels—they were super fresh, perfectly cooked, and the red sauce was packed with flavor. Great spot if you’re craving authentic Italian food!

I ordered traditional carbonara pasta for pick up. When i arrived, the restaurant was closed for public but “open” to take orders. The order was 15 minutes late on receiving end . I had to wait another 15 minutes but main issue is pasta itself. It is dry, with too much pepper , pasta not fully cooked . I am posting a photo of what I thought I bought versus what I actually got . They also didn’t add bread butter or anything as added value. The service was very rude . Pasta is def far away from

We have been coming to OGGI since we moved to Fort Mill and we really enjoy some of the more authentic Italian dishes particularly the grilled octopus and the mussels… they are fantastic!!! We love the older waitress Sue. She is always happy and very efficient which I can’t say the same with some others there. We do like the patio section that usually available without reservations. The drinks are little over priced…a small cocktail will cost you $17. But no place is perfect right? Happy dinning!

Amazing place to visit and eat at. From the amazing food down to the great service. walked in and was greeted with professionalism and a smile. Server was very attentive to or needs and even made good suggestions. What a great experience this was and can’t wait to come back when back in town
