Authentic Chongqing style hotpot specializes in very spicy and numbing soup base. Hand prepared raw meats. Some traditional regional chinese dishes. Probably the best soup base in the SGV. Pretty cool salad bar to boot.

If you say Xiaolongkan, Lameizi, and Chunlahao are traditional hot pot places, then Yuan’s is the fashionable style, both in renovation and decoration. Yuan’s might be the high-end hot pot in Los Angeles.
The restaurant has private rooms with full-time waitstaff and serves free snacks that you would normally have to pick up at the dipping station in other hot pot restaurants. The free Sichuan pepper chicken feet were delicious, and the fried sesame balls were hot, crispy, and tasted good.
The food was not more expensive than other hot pot places. The specialty was their wagyu beef, which had better quality than others.

What I saw looked like a Mercedes logo shape, so you could have three kinds of soup base – one especially for fish, one for wagyu, and one for everything else. The pot was funny, with a copper-colored tiger head on the side. I don’t know if the direction the head pointed to meant anything.

Pretty mediocre hotpot, and not that cheap either. The quality of the ingredients was not good; sliced lamb didn’t seem very fresh, the fish tails weren’t very good, the gluten balls didn’t cook easily. Best dish was the crispy pork! That was delicious! Would order that again. Hotpot base was pretty solid but the non spicy pots were mediocre. The beef tongue was pretty good. Sauce station was standard, not a standout. Atmosphere very bustling, very clean and well decorated environment.

Service was excellent. Special thanks to our waitress Mia. She took good care of us and made some great food choice recommendations.

It was actually much better than most critics reviews I saw lately. The environment is good and the services are excellent. Their meats and dishes are very fresh but not on the cheap side. Overall good experience and will come back.

I can tell that Hotpot is my life so my husband drove an houre to take me here.
I love this hot-pot place. The broth is delicious, and the portions are generous. I believe we were fortunate to have one of the most scenic tables in the house, which has a significant impact on my dining experience. Anyone visiting here would, I believe, experience the gold standard in food quality.
These two gentlemen, Ming and Jian, have improved my experience. They were the unexpected gems in my dining experience. They were extremely pleasant, attentive, and sociable. I’ve learned not to expect good service and instead to appreciate it when I see it. I believe these two men will improve the quality of their surroundings wherever they go. Thank you guys ☺️.

Food: good quality, there are some very attractive house specials. Snack bar is also fun to explore.
Service: staff are super attentive, always being around to help fill water, change plates and so on.
Vibe: high ceiling, bright lighting and reasonable distance between every table collectively bring a very cozy atmosphere and good appetite to dine in. There are other hot pot places that serve good food but can be overcrowded. Here I can really enjoy my time and relax.
They have a parking lot, not spacious but I was able to park immediately every time I came.
