Fresh food at a gas station. What a pleasant surprise. Staff is always courteous and working hard. Totally impressed. Can’t do more than 2 stars for atmosphere. Not much you can do about being next to the slushie machine in the lobby of a gas station.

Well atmosphere is what it is it’s in a gas station so don’t expect much there, but the Turkey Tempter is one of my favorite Subs of all time. I do double meat, turkey bacon loads of cheese it’s epic. Been getting subs here for 15+ years and the TT is my go to. At least once month I treat myself to some elmos. Several locations throughout fort wayne make it easy to eat whatever side of town you’re on.

I’ve become addicted to JT’s snack wraps. They are wonderful. No skimpping here on anything and with the options for veggies and sauces they’ll definitely hold you over till dinner. You should definitely try this. Trust me you’re going to be snacking.

Normally I would give this Elmo’s a 4-5 star rating but this morning they were out of a sub I like in the warmer. Instead of ordering one on the kiosk I decided to wait because I could clearly see he was making more. 2 other gentleman came up and ordered at the kiosk. When he was all done wrapping the subs and labeling them he threw them in a tub and set them on the counter instead of putting them out for people just grab and go. Clearly I had been waiting for him. Then he started the other 2 orders instead of putting the finished ones out.

Beats the crap out of Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc. Elmo’s is the best. Period. The fattest pizzas you can get, and at a very reasonable price. The employees seem to have good attitudes, and they are FAST. I only live 3 miles away, and every time I call in an order and leave immediately, the food is ready when I get there. There needs to be more independent Elmo’s (not part of gas stations), because they deserve to be recognized. They could murder the competition EASILY.
