There are Chinese restaurants, and then there are Chinese restaurants… this place is the latter. Operated by a family, there is no buffet, no hot plates, and no food waiting to be served. The service is fast and friendly and food comes out fresh and hot. The server (and chef) recommended that I try the Triple Delight. I was not disappointed with my choice. Along with a cup of Hot & Sour soup, my meal was one of the best I’ve had in awhile.
Who would have thought that such a gem would be hidden away in a small town in the middle of Minnesota. Well, they are out there and this is definitely one of them to try if you are nearby.

The taste of the food is better than most Chinese restaurants. The cook clearly cares about creating tasty meals, as opposed to many who are just earning a wage between smoke breaks. Not at all fancy. Many of the seats are held together by duct tape. All the seats are booths. Good food, nice people

This is the kind of restaurant that is categorized as one of those unexpected hidden gems that surprise you in a pleasant way. The Chef is the owner so he adds that authentic taste to all the dishes which were very delicious. The service was so welcoming and attentive to my needs and the food was served really fast. Would definitely recommend the visit and maybe the long drive. Best Chinese food in South Minnesota!!

I came in shortly after they opened and I was the only person in there. It was fantastic food and service. I got some crab Rangoon as an appetizer. The owner recommended orange chicken and it was by far the best orange chicken I have had. It was a great level of spice. The dried chilis added a very slight bitterness that was complemented perfectly by the sweet slightly acidic sauce. The next time I’m in town I will definitely be trying this place again.
