This is only my opinion. I would recommend ordering by phone and planning in advance for a pick up or maybe even ordering through Uber if it’s available, first time coming here for empanadas.. wait time was astronomical small waiting area no chairs and crowded. came in at 930am did not get my order until 1025 that’s almost an hour wait for 4 cheese empanadas. I’m a Venezuelan native and these are quite good, just the only Venezuelan bakery near winter park. I ordered four cheese empanadas and I got
chicken and rice cheese maybe due to the multiple orders they had a one given time.

We went for the pineapple cake but they sold out, which is a very good indicator for a tasty cake. We got a bombas instead. Delightful.

I was driving by last month and decided to add it to my list of places to try. I was in the area again and so glad I stopped by!
The owner and his niece are very nice, friendly, attentive and more than happy to answer any questions and make suggestions. They take pride on their goods and they sure deliver!
They have various types of Venezuelan bread, tequeños, empanadas, cake slices, flan slices, coffee, sodas, cheese and some common bread types like French and sandwich bread.
I had never had tequeños before and they sure were delish! I got the regular one with a nice garlic sauce to dip in and a sweet one that had guava in it, both were delicious!
I got 2 piñita breads, since I like the hint of sweetness, softness that you experience as you eat it. It is dusted with some sugar and top and delish!
It sure was a good find and I will definitely be back to try some more!

Must order the pineapple upside down cake! Y el pan dulce con un cafecito! I was also able to get some traditional Venezuelan cheeses while here! Loved being able to see the bakers do their magic behind the glass. Definite a piece of Venezuela in Winterpark! #toasttoyou

100000000/10. I was getting my car washed and walked over to this Venezuelan bakery and oh my god. I’m Venezuelan and havent felt like I’ve had authentic food ever being in this country. BUT the food at this bakery felt like I was at my grandmas house back in Venezuela the food is so good, I got the tequeyoyo, empanadas, cheese pastries , some super good kola, this is 25 mins from me but I’m definitely going back. The empanadas are so good I’m eating the carne molida one as we speak. This is a pick up and go type of place as well. We ate at some benches nearby and it was great.

I am hooked to Pia’s Bakery! This Bakery is a Hidden Gem located in the Winter Park Commerce Plaza on Aloma Ave. They have a great selection, the food is always fresh and they have items that are made on demand on the spot.
They have such a large selection of beverages, desserts, cakes, non alcoholic Venezuelan Coquito, refrigerated cheese, and My favorite Bakery items are the Manitos De Guavaba (Guava “Hands) which are sold separately or in a set of 5, Berliner with delicious custard cream, Pan de Queso (Cheese Bread) and a variety of different cakes. The Pineapple Upside Cake is delicious.
They sell all different types in of Espresso, Café Latte, Vanilla Café, and cappuccino. Don’t stop there though! Try their Empanadas that are made freshly on the spot and there’s o many different variations of fillings to your liking! I also love their Tyqueyouo’s with ranch dipping sauce and the they taste better than mozzarella sticks) I can’t pick a favorite or else I’d have to say everything!

It’s a great bakery!! They have Venezuelan bread & bakery specialties (cheese, tequeños, cachitos, etc) but you can find bread that is nicely done in an artisan way!! There are no tables, is a pick and go place
