I 1000% recommend Ra Ra’s Ice Cream Shop! I couldn’t dream of a better place to take my son for ice cream, this is our go to place. And by go-to, I mean we literally go nowhere else. Really great prices, friendly and welcoming staff, great little spot for kids to run around, and they have so much more to offer than most places. How many places in our neck of the woods have more than 3 flavors of soft serve?! And I seriously am so excited every time that I forget to take a picture until I’m already a few bites in! Love love love this place, you’re truly missing out if you don’t go here. ♥️

Our first visit at Ra Ra’s. They have a plenty variety of ice creams, the prices are reasonable since the portions are enough for the sizes. The staff were very friendly, attentive and super fast.

The service here sucked. I would say it’s because today’s youth does not listen, but it was a case of today’s youth just not communicating. I gave the girls specific details as to what I wanted Heath topping on the bottom, the three scoop ice cream on top of that Heath on the top whipped cream. Very simple. She did not tell the girl that made the order how it was supposed to be and they did not give me nowhere near three scoops of ice cream, And then proceeded to hide The fact that they didn’t give me three scoops of ice cream with whipped cream. No, I love whipped cream, so I’m not mad about that.
It’s not like the ice cream was bad. The ice cream was actually good. They had the toppings I want and the whipped cream was great. The problem was is that they are completely covered by overgrowth no lighting, except until you get to the counter, so you’re walking in the dark down sidewalk after you’ve driven down the road with no lights and parked in a parking lot with no lights.

First visit on a weekday afternoon! Plenty of signs to get you there and a Fair amount of parking. Lots of places to sit and even shade! Tons of hard ice cream flavors. Lots of delicious cone choices. Chocolate and vanilla soft serve with flavor add-ons. I had the twist, my favorite. Yum! It did not disappoint! Hope to go again soon.

Best ice cream around! They have vegan options as well so perfect for me with a dairy allergy! Love the ice cream, Nightmare was my favorite when I had dairy would definitely recommend! They have so many options to choose from and it’s so convenient to go in Dayville across from Killingly Commons at Owen Bell Park. My dog loves their pup cups and their shakes are fabulous!
