I haven’t been able to find a good barbecue restaurant since I’ve been up here. But I found one now. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I ordered the link and tip combo and a four piece wing with lemon pepper. Best lemon pepper wings I’ve had in years. The link was a chicken andouille sausage and it was great. They had a jalapeño corn bread muffin too .
The tips were tender and seasoned well they had great flavor. But that banana pudding ooooooweeee it was homemade and it was the best banana pudding I’ve ever had and my people are from the south. If you haven’t been here, make sure you check this place out.

Catfish is fried to perfection. Perfectly cooked inside with the best, crispy outside. It stayed crispy after a 30 minute drive, too. Rib tips are delicious. Nothing more needs to be said about them. Best rib tips around.
Everything is made fresh to order and the wait isn’t very long either.
The best part is the food is outclassed by the kindness and service I received. It’s absolutely worth the drive.

I went there the day before Thanksgiving and ordered a cat fish plate and a rib tip plate, with beans and a banana pudding, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! This reminds me of that good southern cooking, no frills just good quality and quantity food! Holes in the wall low key places are the best!

The food was simply amazing and home cooked!!. Owners were super friendly and welcoming. Catfish was on point,best we’ve had in a very long time,fries and Turkey tips are a MUST! Let’s not mention the BBQ sauce!! It was NOT out of a jar,heat plus sweet,tasted like it was slowly cooked to perfection

Wow! We couldn’t wait to try this place after finding out we had a REAL barbecue place in the area boasting about their southern cuisine. We were not let down in the least! The food was all fresh, cooked to order. The flavors were so tasty in the fried catfish, smokey rib tips and the hot links. The baked macaroni and cheese was out of this world delicious!! The candied yams were so perfectly flavored, they were like a side of dessert. The banana pudding is waiting in the fridge because the meals were such a great portion, we are stuffed!! We can’t wait to return to try the peach cobbler!!

I don’t even like fish but their cat fish is amazinggggggggggg!!! Crispy outside, moist on the inside. In the 2nd photo I got two pieces of cat fish, I ate one before taking the photo. Their sauce ??? Delicious! If you’re looking for city flavor sauce, this is the place to come to ! Their fried wings? FALL OFF THE BONEESSS but crispy on outside. Rib tips? Real good, enough fatty pieces and regular pieces, lots of meat on them! Banana pudding, hits the spot. I don’t like collard greens because of the texture but the ones they gave me WERE washed and cooked right ! Loved their spaghetti! Never dined in, took it to go every time, even when I didn’t eat it right away it was still good quality! Do not hesitate to order from here The service is amazing, very friendly, and welcoming! I hope this place stays out here and I hope it continues with the quality because this is home made cooking, cooked right! Wait time is a little lengthy because it’s cooked fresh by order so if you’re in a rush call ahead and preorder, it worth the wait!
