2nd time going to QDoba by Schnuck’s since it’s close to my work and I can get a walk in. Around 12:30pm. BOTH times when I walked in I was ignored for several minutes. BOTH times it’s been the same younger chubby lady. (NOT BODY SHAMING, just using description) BOTH times she’s had an attitude an acted like she didn’t want to do her job. Today she asked “What do you need?!” With a cocky attitude as if I was interrupting her job by being a customer. ME: “I’d like the Cholula Chicken please.” HER: “Well yeah! Do you want a bowl, burrito, what?!” ME: “I’ll take a bowl and can I get like 3 scoops of the chicken?” HER (Completely ignoring my request for extra chicken and interrupting): “Ok wrll yeah! What else? Beans, rice, veggies? What do you want?!” Finally she gets to the chicken and I ask for extra she puts another 1/4-1/2 size scoop. Then we get to the end and it costs $16.55 and she doesn’t even hand me a cup. Bare in mind I got the EXACT same meal the 1st time and it was around $12.75 AND got a drink. I understand extra chicken may cost extra, but almost $4 extra for 5-6 little pieces of dry old chicken and no drink when I order a meal is crazy. (Chicken looked and tasted old and the Fajita veggies weren’t even sauteed either) but that’s not what set me off, her entitled “You owe me” attitude is! After I pay she aggressively hands me the money and walks off. No drink, no have a good day, nothing. Look, I’ve worked and still work in Customer service. I get it’s not the best job in the world and people have a bad day but I gave her the benefit of the doubt last time, won’t happen again! You’ve not only lost my business but every one of my coworkers as well. Maybe they think because I walked there and had my backpack on with my laptop in it that I’m homeless (which I’m not) or Maybe it’s because my backpack is my Army backpack from my last years of service and they’re feelings got hurt over me being prior military idk but y’all need to learn some manners! What comes around goes around, Karma is real remember that. Choose kindness! Peace!
The cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. The bathrooms and dining area were extremely dirty, especially considering the restaurant was slow at the time. Instead of cleaning or prepping, staff members were on their phones and not working.
Customer service was also very poor. The employees were rude and disrespectful, did not appear to be wearing gloves, and did not have their hair properly secured while handling food, which is unsanitary and disturbing.
If these issues continue to be ignored, this location will not last. I expect much better standards from Qdoba. This was a very disappointing experience.
