The service is horrible. You will be ignored when you walk in. I have had to get the attention from one or two of the 5+ employees just to be acknowledged. There was one female employee who had the worst oral hygiene, she looked unkempt and her hair was dirty and all over the place. No one could understand any of the names she called out so customers asked eachother but ultimately had to ask her to repeat the name. To which she acted like she shouldn’t have to. No name tag either.
Once went there and the person wandering around behind the counter not helping take orders or cleaning up, or making sandwiches appeared to be high.
There is barely any space to stand and wait for your food to be prepared because the place is tiny. I felt uncomfortable amd awkward standing so close to people eating at a table 6 inches from where I was standing. Be prepared to wait outside and constantly go in and check on your order.
I like Togo’s but for this place to have the audacity to open after hiring the people they hired is making me question whether Subway is a better option. They provide a small, hot dining room with a bathroom door that faces out towards the dining area and a table RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, YUCK!
Another time the dining area was packed. Tables occupied, standing room only. An employee comes out from the back with two very full garbage bags, raises them as high as they could and walks through the dining area and out the door. One garbage bag was leaking and the other was brushing against people in line waiting to order.
If they want to keep customers they need to figure out a better way to arrange the inside, get rid of the rude and/or high employees and teach basic customer service skills and cleanliness.
I would not recommend this location.
I have tried a few times earlier but once they had no power and another time they were out of bread during lunch. today they were out of white bread so I got my sandwich on sourdough bread. how a sandwich shop runs out of bread confounds me? this questionable ability to serve will continue to give me doubts.
I think they need to learn to better prepare for service for me to visit more often. I give the food 5 stars but you have to overcome everything else.
