My daughter found this restaurant on TikTok. Although the goggle reviews do not match what I saw on TikTok, but we decided to give it a try; It did NOT disappoint! The food was sooo good! Apparently, this restaurant has been taken over by new management so the reviews are for the previous owner. I don’t do buffet food, I’m not a fan of it but this place all the food is cooked to order but it’s not your traditional buffet food. I don’t even understand how this place makes money for $20 pp. I got a tempura roll miso soup, shrimp lo mein dumplings. My husband got GeneralTso chicken lo mein two sushi rolls, crab Rangoon. Everything was made to order everything was fresh. Everything was tasty. I left asking my husband. When can we go back!!

I recently tried this new all-you-can-eat hibachi and sushi spot. The food was about a 3/5. not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. The sushi and hibachi were decent, just not anything that really stood out flavor-wise.
The space itself is very large, which was surprising considering the menu is prefixed and somewhat limited. It feels like there’s a lot of room for growth in both the menu and overall experience.
That said, it wasn’t horrible by any means…there’s definitely potential here. With a few improvements and some refinement, I could see this place becoming a solid go-to.

Absolutely delicious! I was a bit skeptical at first given my experience at the previous buffet that occupied this spot (different owners), but this sitdown AYCE style concept is probably my favorite.
I do not eat sushi and was pleasantly surprised with how many non-sushi options they have!
You have to get the Hibachi steak (I got 3 orders lol), the shrimp and vegetable tempura and the crab rangoons. Everything else was good too, but these were standouts.

The food amazing for the price and it being an all you can eat buffet but it’s not the traditional type. You tell the waitresses what you want and they bring you fresh hot food. The service is amazing as well.

Very friendly staffing and service. Food taste awesome and all you can eat for 29.99 for per adults anything on the menu also everything freshly made. Ella was our waitress and her service was great. Will be definitely coming back.

Highly recommended by a family member. Took the drive from Waterbury and was not disappointed. The all you can eat price of $29.95 was a great value and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious, I highly recommend that you try this hidden gem in Derby!

So I’ve been coming to this spot before the rebrand when it was still a buffet spot. The food at the time was decent but like any buffet style restaurants the food could get cold or too dry just sitting out for hours at a time.
After this rebrand however, this place has become my new favorite local Chinese/Japanese spot. Does it compare to some of the more established all you can eat sushi/hibachi places around CT? It actually does. I think for what it is it hangs with some of the more aesthetically pleasing spots.
The decor isn’t gonna knock your socks off but I could give a damn about all that. We here for the food and the food has taken a very noticeable step up in quality and freshness.
I came here for lunch and for a measly 20 bucks I had all you can eat 8/10 sushi and 8/10 hibachi. The steak was seared and cooked perfectly the sushi was fresh and melted in your mouth. Not overly chewy like some lower quality sushi.
Maybe not as big a variety of sushi compared to places like my personal favorite Maru 67 in Oxford but this is high quality cheaper option that offers a solid selection of menu items.
Highly recommend. Staff was so pleasant and when I spoke to some of them and they all expressed gratitude and appreciation for noticing the changes. I like supporting small businesses like these especially when it’s been hard for businesses in this location to succeed but I hope this review encourages some of yall to try it.

I am so happy we finally have an all you can eat sushi in Derby! All the food was delicious! Disregard all the reviews older than a month from this post as they are for the buffet which it’s not anymore. Instead, you order off their menu and they bring it out to you restaurant style. Their white tuna sashimi was sooo buttery and smooth and their hibachi steak was juicy and packed with flavor. We also loved the Oishi sushi roll. We can’t wait to be back and try different items off their menu because everything sounds soo good (takoyaki, I’m looking at you). Our waitress was so friendly and even gave her recommendations which we appreciated. The restaurant is also really spacious with lots of seating which is a plus. Give it a try and send your friends too! (Just look at that sushi boat! It’s so pretty! )

The waitress was very attentive, kind and friendly she made the experience. The food was fresh and well portioned. $29.95 all you can eat and they serve it to you so you don’t have to get up and make your plate. That’s a clean buffet. The best yet!
