As you can see in my picture all the pieces are cut from the sides NOT making them FULL SIZE like before. DO BETTER this is false advertising now!!
But this last order? A betrayal of trust, Domino’s.
I ordered cheesy bread and lava cakes—my go-to combo for when life is hard and I need melty carbs to lie to me for a few minutes. What I got instead was bread with the ghost of cheese—a spectral hint, like cheese had unfinished business and came back to haunt this loaf one last time, and three lava cakes that had clearly been victims of a high-speed left turn. They arrived pancaked into one gooey chocolate singularity—less “molten lava dessert” and more “chocolate tectonic collision.”
Look, I didn’t come here expecting fine dining. I came for comfort. I came for cheese. I came for lava cakes, plural. What I got was disappointment wrapped in a cardboard box (pretending to be comfort food while emotionally unavailable the whole time), delivered with the urgency of a man fleeing a crime scene, and opened with the hopeful energy of someone about to be let down.
Do better, Domino’s. I’m not mad, I’m just… carb-starved and emotionally vulnerable.
