When I arrived 10 minutes later, the exact same thing happened again. I checked at the counter and they were refried, not fresh. I told the staff I needed fresh samosas and was told I would have to wait another 10 minutes. I explained that this was the whole reason I called earlier — so they could prepare them fresh in advance.
Unfortunately, even after waiting, the samosas still tasted refried, old, and lacking flavour.
The filling had an excessive amount of whole coriander seeds, making them extremely difficult to eat. I even found a small stone inside the filling. The taste was bland, the texture unpleasant, and overall the quality was very disappointing.
I had higher expectations, especially after calling ahead and after the good food quality you used to have when you first opened. Sadly, the quality has declined a lot, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back or recommending this place to friends and family anymore.
1. Pyaaz kachori was hard and seemed over-reheated, losing all freshness.
2. Shakarpara had a strange pickle-like smell, as if stored near or mixed with pickles — completely off-putting.
3. Mithi pakodiyaan were also not fresh and tasted stale.
This restaurant is not near my home, so I can’t visit frequently just to complain. When I do mention these issues during my occasional visits, the staff dismiss my concerns unless I show a bill — which they never provide unless asked.
It’s disappointing that there’s no basic trust in customers. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they act like I’m making it up — no apology, no compensation, and zero accountability. If they cared about quality or customer retention, they’d handle feedback professionally.
A simple sorry would go a long way — but sadly, even that seems too much to expect here.
We bought golgappas and samosas after two years from this place. Samosas are way too oily and the filling inside has a wooden piece . Golgappas were stale!!! They smell so so bad that I had to throw up . I don’t know it feels like they have been sprayed with some pesticide!!
I would strongly suggest civilians to not buy from this restaurant. They literally playing with your health!
I trusted the store enough to give it another chance, but the same issue happening again shows a lack of care for food safety. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their storage and preparation practices.
We are vegetarian. Today I ordered veg simple aloo samosas. When I came home and started eating, I realized that only a few samosas were vegetarian and the rest were non-veg.
I immediately called the restaurant and they just said sorry, it happened by mistake. This is not a small mistake—for vegetarians, this is very serious.
Totally unacceptable and careless handling of food. Very disappointed.
