Gina’s is easily one of the best Cuban food trucks in the Austin/Pflugerville area. Their food is always fresh and full of flavor—you have to try the Arroz Frito Cubano, it’s incredible! Keep it up, you guys are doing amazing work.

We bought a meal of roasted pork. It comes with skin, yucca, salad and congris rice. We are three adults. We ate of one plate and took home for tomorrow’s lunch. The pork was tender and tasty, the pork skin was crunchy and everything was delicious. We had a cortadito coffee. Everything cooked to perfection and delicious. Definitely coming back for the caldosa made on Sundays only. The food truck is not next to the avenue; it is towards the back. Only open for two months and they are doing great. I loved my first visit.

This is the best Cuban food I’ve had in Austin by far. I moved here from Miami and I’ve been looking for good Cuban food and Gina’s surpassed my expectations. It was so good I had to call Gina and tell her lol. The entire meal felt like my Cuban mom’s home cooking. I have already ordered several times and will many many more times. Gina de verdad que la comida estaba muy rica!

The service was unique to a food truck experience. We ordered from a host who saw us to a picnic table. We had the special sandwich Cubano which was grilled perfectly. The bread was crisp and fresh. Delicious!

The tamales are really good, and totally unlike Mexican tamales. They’re huge, moist but not oily, and topped with chunks of chicharrones. Definitely worth trying. The flan was also outstanding.

Wow!! Are we downtown Austin?? New York?? Hollywood?? I had a Cuban versión of combo fried rice with steak strip on top. Not even a full salad! Small little corner section of a to go plate salad! Essentially! $20 extra for the combo rice! When they say their special, it’s not the lunch or dinner “cheap” or “reasonably priced” special it’s the opposite. My own fault for asking what their special was and not asking the price, but two plates coming out to nearly $75?!! From a food truck in Pville??!! Come on now! Ouch! Good, but over-priced food. If this was indoors and served by waiter/waitress and was a Cuban versión of Fonda San Miguel vibes I’d understand, but outside wooden bench in dusty parking lot?? No! There’s another food truck area and restaurant down the road with reasonable prices.

I got salmonella from the undercooked pork. Service and atmosphere were great.

I recommend it 100 percent if you are looking for real Cuban food, there is plenty of parking on the other side of the food truck.
