If you’re in the mood for a beautiful aesthetic and delicious food, you’ve got to check out this restaurant. Coq au vin was amazing and can confirm I got a second order of pommes frites with aioli sauce. Suggest ordering two at the same time – you and your table will thank me. Will definitely be back.

My wife, my daughter, and I had dinner here before attending a play at the high school. My daughter and I had steaks, me a petite filet, her a sirloin coulotte, both medium rare. They brought steak knives, but we didn’t need them. The steaks were so tender, a regular table knife was all that was needed. My wife had the surf and surf appetizer for her meal. One crab cake, one salmon cake. They were delicious. I also had a wedge salad with Bleu cheese dressing. It was big enough for the three of us to share. We finished of the meal with a piece of pecan pie. Everything was so good! I’ve eaten at Hyde Park before, and our meal here far exceeded the meal that we had there. I can’t wait to return.

We gave Black Diamond Prime Steakhouse a try at their new Johnstown location. My husband had the prime rib and I had the petite filet. They were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. We both got green beans for a side. I can’t wait to try the French onion soup. It looked delicious. We shared the cheesecake for two. We were surprised by the large portion, it was perfect for us to share! Our server was Noah. He was great! We had already went to the liquor store and bought their bourbon while we waited for them to open. The cocktails are great! We can’t wait to sit in the covered outdoor space when it warms up! We will be back to work our way through the menu.

The atmosphere was really nice yet comfortable. The food was very good. The staff is green but working hard to learn. Bourbon was awesome.

Had dinner with some colleagues to also test the new place.
Steaks were good yet served cold, also the medium well, the side vegetables were not cooked through, baked potatoes and green beans.
Salads served after the steaks were already at the table.
We will give it another shot for sure hoping the kinks of being new (at least there waiters) will be soon fixed. Two waiters attending the table with repetitive asking (like twice by both of their if we wanted more water while eating and some of our glasses were empty, which means thatbthe first one, after is confirmed yes please, did not execute, the second one did)
For the price you pay you would expect overall a better service level.
Other stake-house in the neighborhood are less expensive and more efficient in service.

Black Diamond Prime Steakhouse delivered an amazing dining experience. Excellent steak, great sides, and friendly, professional service. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed. Highly recommend for a great night out.
