What a gem! We randomly found Costiera and we loved it. Great vibe, not too loud, perfect for a date. We sat at the window and people watched. We enjoyed a lovely drink called the Paper Wasp. Ordered the house made focaccia, perfection. A beet, buratta and pear salad with pistachios was so fresh and lovely. The mains were house made pasta with ragu, fantastic; and short rib with roasted sweet potatoes and a purple purée. Amazing flavors but honestly the short rib was a little dry. So I would say that was a little disappointing.

Dessert was the chocolate tart with candied hazelnuts. We got a side of whipped cream. It needed it to cut the richness. So Yummy.

But honestly 9/10. Would definitely plan to come again next time we are in the area!

Even after that massive storm, I’m so glad I snagged a Restaurant Week spot.
There’s a $5 parking garage right across the street. The walk was a bit icy, but the vibe inside—cool wicker basket lights and a colorful mural—made it inviting.
Our server, AJ, was awesome and made good recommendations. The RW menu is stacked with great options:
* The grilled octopus appeteizer was incredibly tender, and the squid ink bucatini was an umami dream. The calamari was perfectly cooked and not rubbery.
*my bf’s mushroom bolognese was very tasty and something I would order myself next time I’m there
* The lemon curd served alongside the pound cake with mint whipped cream was the perfect finish for me. Though I was also eyeing my bf’s chocolate tart as it looked so good.

If they’ve extended the RW menu, stop reading and just go!

Bartender, excellent. Atmosphere is perfect for 2-4 person parties. Both bar & table seating promote conversation. Ambient music & soft lighting. Great stop for Mediterranean

The four of us created an interesting tasting menu of yellowfin tuna crudo, sweetbreads, focaccia, mushroom bolognese, kale and Brussels sprouts salad, and a whole grilled rock octopus. The whole octopus was served with incredible potatoes and Brussels sprouts. This was paired with a Maryland Albariño, and f finished with saffron ice cream and chocolate basque cheesecake. Every dish was well prepared and so interesting.

Try the home made limoncello.
We had the whole Bronzino and squid ink pasta. Everything was fantastic.

Cute little place in an interesting location. Nice atmosphere and inviting dishes. The fried olives are surprisingly good. Dishes are a little on the small side if you know what I mean.

After biking past this place everyday for almost a year, finally made it in! Had an amazing time! What a strong HH on a Friday! Then we got some entrees and appetizers as well. Fantastic combinations. From the bolo fries and bruschetta to the shrimp gnocchi and squid ink bucatini. The hamachi crudo was so refreshing for a hot day and the kumquat was so fresh! Really enjoyed and the fun spritzs were nice! Will be back!

A gem in Fells Point! Decided to come here because it’s a newer spot in the area and the menu looked adventurous – it did not disappoint! We started with the house-made focaccia and all I can say is, wow! Absolutely delicious – to the point where I immediately trusted the chef and wanted to try everything on the menu! We kept it light, as we were going to a movie after, so decided on the arugula salad and mushroom soup. Both were AMAZING! The salad had such a perfect balance of flavors, with the combo of the arugula, mustard vinaigrette dressing, apples, and blue cheese. I don’t even like blue cheese or fruit in my salads, but it was truly the perfect pairing. The mushroom soup was delectable – creamy and flavorful, with fresh goat cheese and pine nuts. I wanted to order another one after I finished it! Whoever made this unique menu is creative and very talented. We can’t wait to go back and try more items, just based on the few things we got. To make things even better, there’s a $5 parking garage right across the street, which for the area is super convenient. I highly, highly recommend this spot mainly for the menu, but also for the atmosphere and service!

Beautiful, cozy place. Love all the plants and large windows allowing sunlight to seep through. Big fan of the yellowfin tuna crudo, rigatoni, and chocolate basque cheesecake. Beef tartare was good, but nothing special. Scallops were prepared more like ceviche and the octopus was mid IMO. Other people at the table liked them though, so I think it’s personal preference. 10/10 would recommend for lunch or a light/early dinner.
