I asked for plain cheeseburgers with ketchup only. They left out the cheese and ketchup… Come. On. The service was good, but doesn’t make up for a messed up order… Especially when it’s for two hangry kiddos

Over thanksgiving they were supposed to close at 2 everyday. Well the doors were locked at 1:30 one day and 1:15 the next and 12:30 the next. They never follow hours. They close whenever they feel like it. On Tuesday the 30th (today) at 3:40 they were closed for a “30 min employee break”. It’s been 45 minutes and they still aren’t back. The ONLY saving grace of this place is the sweet younger lady with short hair. She has the best customer service I’ve ever seen. However, you can’t have good customer service AND close whenever you want and expect good reviews.

21MAR2023, at around 7:35PM, I went to the drive through and the guy on the comms told me that they were closing when in fact they were closing at 8pm. They said they closing half an hour early to cleans and getting ready to closed, while they were doing it during business hours. Maybe it’s just me, I thought they were supposed to start cleaning at 8pm and still serving before then.

I ordered a burger with just mustard and extra onions… and a drink with no ice… I received a bun with JUST (i.e., no meat) mustard and onions (hardly any at that) with a drink packed with ice. The employee said “but you said you just wanted mustard and onions” . No apology was offered. Oh, and they gave me a kid’s meal… not what I ordered either. They only stay is business due to a captured audience on a base with limited choices.

Usually I never have a problem here. And I normally come in the morning. Today I came in the afternoon. I dont know what happened but the cashier DANIEL was really having a difficult time paying attention to my order. After he asked me twice if I want and if I ordered the Breakfast platter which I answered NO on both times. He ended up still charging me for the platter. When I told him AGAIN that I didnt want the platter and what i ordered was a breakfast jack combo. He pointed out to me what the platter looked like at the menu which I am very familiar to, only i didnt want it and never ordered it. He then proceeded to argue with me, at this point I got frustrated, coz I wasnt really going to eat something I didnt order. He still continued to argue with me and insisting it was my fault ordering it. And he said “im going to have to refund you” Which is exactly what needed to be done in the first place with an apology soon after I told him upon seeing my receipt getting charged with something I never ordered. This was the first time this happened to me at this Jack in the box location. Considering this is located inside a naval base, where everyone is expected to treat every customer with full respect.

It’s great to have Jack in the box in this base. Had to change it to three stars. Because 3 days in a row I waited more than 15 minutes for my food while other people with the same sandwich got theirs.

Good, dependable, nation wide chain of competing “burgers and more” restaurants. This location is on a Naval base so military access only. For those who can go, it’s quick and almost always empty.
