Treated to the best chai and Gajar Halwa. The gentleman up front was super kind and generous. Can’t wait to be back and try out other items on the menu.

Dass Sweets & Catering is a hidden gem in Antioch! Their sweets taste incredibly fresh and authentic—just like homemade. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always willing to help you choose the right items. I’ve tried their samosas, mithai, and a few curries, and everything has been delicious. Such a great spot for anyone craving real Indian flavors. Highly recommend!

This is a review for their laddoo I bought from India cash and carry store in Fremont, CA.
I took a bite and saw something black inside. I assume it could be one of the spices like Clove but open closer inspection found it to be a bug. Now I am scarred for life to eat sweets from this brand and in general any packed store sweet! This is just for awareness and not to say that all their products are bad.

This place has excellent Indian sweets. We have been buying their sweets from local grocery stores for several years. For bigger orders I have visited their Antioch facility.
I am giving them 4 stars because during my recent visit they charged me $1 per box for empty cardboard boxes when I was buying 6 pounds of sweets. Please don’t nickel and dime your customers.
Update: I did not ask for the fancy boxes that are possibly imported from India. I asked for a simple box shown in the photo.

Okay let’s start of by rating the food, I decided to stop by yesterday evening (Saturday around 4pm) . I started by ordering; Aloo Tikka Chat, after following my appetizer I then ordered the famous Chili Paneer/ Paneer Tikka Masala. With a side of basmati rice. Let’s just say the food was HIGHLY DELICIOUS!! Moving from the Arizona a couple days ago, this was the meal I have been looking for a while. As I see myself to be a strict food reviewer, I can honestly say DASS SWEETS deserves a 5 star rating from the friendly staff to the wonderful food. Keep up the great work DASS!!

Let me start by saying there’s not a lot of good Indian food options in the East County area. That’s why I’m so excited about this place – the food is fantastic.
We tried some options from the small lunch buffet (we chose butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, and channa masala), plus an order of gobi manchurian. We also tried the mango lassi and some sweets.
We’ve had disappointing Indian food at other places where the flavors are flat, bland, one-dimensional, and just missing something. That is not the case here. Every single item we tried was full of complex, delicious flavor that just hits the spot. Some places have that magic “it factor” to their food, some don’t. This place definitely has it. You know it has it when you want to drink all the sauces
The place itself is on the small side (only has a few tables for dine-in) and is run by a nice family. I hope this business thrives because it’s a gem!

Got to taste and witness some fine quality sweets that necessitated a quick stop by to pickup a small order of Barfi and Gulab jamun from Dass sweets. Absolutely amazing and tasted very fresh.
Sweet and ingredients were very well balanced and I would absolutely recommend their roasted barfi for sure!!
