Great place to eat if you’re at the mall! The noodles are made fresh every day and they were fantastic. The pork was so tender! Big portions, lots of flavor, and wonderful staff. I hope they get a stand-alone restaurant somewhere, because I will go there so much!

I have been here several times… and am surprised I have not done a review. So here goes…

The bbq pork baozi are delicious, and fresh. Past visits verify this.

This visit, I ordered the fried chicken and rice plate, and an order of sesame balls.

Fried chicken is yummy, tender and juicy. Rice is good, nice and sticky… easy to eat with chopsticks. The order includes a nice portion of pickled Daikon radish, and some made in house Kimchi… both of which are delicious. Very nice service over all… definitely a full meal.

Sesame balls… smaller than I am used to, but very tasty. The red bean paste inside is yummy, although I think it needs a bit more paste than they have. Seems skimpy! But worth the price.

Service is always awesome… the staff here are wonderful, if you need something, all you have to do is ask.

Hate the mall but was craving Korean fusion today so gave VRC a try. This place was DELICIOUS!!! So glad they give free samples cuz it helped us pick our meals. Everything was fresh, delicious and hit that fried craving spot perfectly. Wish they had a non-mall location, but was worth the peopling anyway. Thanks for lunch!!!

I really cannot sing the praises of this little establishment enough. The prices in modernity are beyond a good deal, the food is fresh tasting and well seasoned, the staff are always fast and kind. Really, if you want dim sum outside of a 45 minute drive to a sit down restaurant in Salem, this is the place to go. Really amazing stuff from a ‘fast food’ bao place!

First time visiting Bao Ing Out in the food court at Valley River Mall and it was flavorful. We ordered the small meal option that comes with two sides. The Steamed Pork Bao was fresh and scrumptious. The Pickled Radish Salad had Daikon and Carrots in a refreshing sauce. The Hot and Sour Soup had a well-balanced flavor and was tasty. Korean Fusion Dim Sum is a great addition to the mall.

My husband loves malls. He insisted we go to this one, which purports to be the largest mall between San Francisco and Portland along US 5.

We shared the vegetarian bao, which was filled with braised 粉丝 (fen si), tiny shiitake mushrooms, 胡椒粉, and cabbage.

The bun dough tasted like my grandmother’s steamed dough. I was so surprised to encounter such a meal in the middle of a food court, empty, but for the wandering teenagers and squirrelly old men. It was like meeting an old friend in a foreign country.

I used to LOVE this place. Its been awhile since ive been there but i finally went back yesterday after craving it for so long and I want my $25 back. I have never had dumplings this bad. The meat tasted like literal taco meat with taco seasoning and the dough around the dumpling was super thick and hard to bite into. The sauce also had no flavor at all. The person at the front desk was dull and not personable at all. I dont know if it was just new people working or what but that was so disgusting. I’m so disappointed and frustrated because ive been craving this place for so long but we live a ways away and I finally treated myself and it was gross.

First time here. Drawn in by the free samole of the #7 in the menu. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Portions were huge! It’s more like for 2 people. It’s really a good value for the money. My meal was really tasty, including the rice I substituted for the soup. I’m impressed for mall food court food.

I had the steamed dumplings and rice. Super friendly service. Perfect portion size. Steamed option was light and filling. Many ways to customize your order…bao or dumpling…4 different fillings… fried or steamed… rice or soup! So good!

I’m so glad we were drawn in by the samples. We ordered the regular combo of golden fried baos, half with pork and half with beef. Delicious, will order their steamed dumplings next time.
