Got their Chicken Teriyaki + Deep Fried Prawn combo as well as their Regular Fried Chicken Wings

– Deep fried prawn is my go to item from them. Their prawn is always so delectably crunchy and a drool-worthy appetizer when paired with their perfectly tangy sauce

– Fried chicken wings were incredibly moist and meaty, light and crisp batter which is wonderful for those who enjoy Korean style fried chicken

This place has gone downhill badly. First, it took forever just to pay, with staff moving at a snail’s pace. Then I was charged for a takeout bag even though I was eating IN the dining room. I wasn’t taking the food to go. I was literally sitting at a table.

When I calmly asked why I was charged for a bag I wasn’t going to use, the cashier mocked me, dramatically saying “HERE YOU GO!” and slamming eight cents on the counter like it was some kind of performance. It didn’t stop there—she then started screaming at me in the middle of the dining room, which was completely inappropriate and embarrassing.

Instead of professionally voiding the charge or handling the situation like an adult, she carelessly took my food away as if that solved anything. I was treated like a problem instead of a paying customer.

The food itself was already a disappointment. The portion I received was maybe 35% of what’s shown in the restaurant photos, and they didn’t even include the vegetables that are clearly pictured with the dish. On top of that, the quality and quantity are nowhere near what they were under the old owners. What’s advertised is absolutely not what you get.

Between the yelling, disrespectful behavior, misleading photos, and downgraded food, I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other teriyaki spots that treat customers with basic respect.
Also payed $30 smh…

The teriyaki is consistently good. I typically get the spicy chicken teriyaki and it’s always good and fills me up. The staff is friendly and happy which brightens the experience.

We had Fuji Teriyaki cater our The Wine Alley Sake & Sushi Night, and it was absolutely fantastic! The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the fried rice was perfectly seasoned, and the yakisoba was warm, comforting, and delicious. Every bite was outstanding.

Beyond the food, the owners are such a warm and friendly couple—they put so much care into their cooking and it really shows. Their kindness and hospitality make the experience even better.

If you’re in the Fairwood area of Renton, Fuji Teriyaki is a must-go spot. Whether you’re craving sushi, noodles, or rice dishes, you’ll leave happy and full. Highly recommend!

I Order spicy chicken and Seattle roll. Chick is good test for the spicy and Seattle roll is very yummy. I go to this restaurant every week, and the staff at the front desk treat me like family. The Teriyaki dishes are absolutely delicious and the Sushi is fantastic too. I’ve been to many restaurants, but this one is truly the best . I recommend it to many people in the area.

Fantastic place! Fried rice had generous portions, chicken gyoza was delicious. Offered choice between forks and chopsticks for accessibility. Excellent music playing. Well priced for the quality and atmosphere + they have Dr. Pepper. Would rate 6/5 if I could.

This is a wonderful Asian fusion restaurant with Japanese primarily and some Chinese dishes. The owner is wonderfully creating a lovely environment with healthy fresh shredded cabbage! Highly recommend plus the spicy chicken is tasty

The lady working at the front was very nice! I can tell they cared, with a little cute decor in the building. The meal I got was pretty! But the poor quality of ingredients really showed. I got a salmon bento, which was ~$33 after tax, but came with a lot of food. The fish on the nigiri was pretty bad. Not a lot of flavor and very chewy. Wasabi was bright neon green and sandy tasting. The tempura potato was extremely thick cut, which meant it wasn’t all the way cooked and was awkward to eat. Gyoza was pretty tasteless (definitely was store bought frozen). The shrimp “tempura” was that flat fried shrimp like you’d expect from a Thai restaurant (prolly frozen store bought?). I liked the cabbage salad quite a bit. Lastly, the salmon was a little overcooked and again not great quality fish.

I can tell they care more than most teriyaki joints… Most don’t give any care into their food, where these guys put a lot of effort into the presentation. Normally I wouldn’t write a detailed review like this, but I have a feeling they might read it and improve. The food wasn’t good enough to want to go back. Get better quality ingredients and it will help you out a lot!! For the price I was charged, you can definitely handle in the cost of better ingredients.

My first time here, and I’ll be back! I didn’t call ahead, just ordered when I got there, and my chicken teriyaki was ready in about five minutes. The portion size was good for the price, and I appreciated the salad as well. Next time I’ll ask for heavy sauce, but the chicken was excellent. No bad cuts of meat or gristle, and cooked enough to have a few pieces with a bit of crispness. Perfection!

Visit #2: I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, and it nearly melted my face off. I’m sensitive to spicy food, but still love it, so for some this might be an OK level of spice but I can’t order it again. But the portion size was the same as lunch and it was cooked to perfection.
