Ambiance was nice, but food and service was really underwhelming. Came early and was seated next to a large group that seemed to be drunk at 5 pm and asked the hostess to be moved (the restaurant was still 90% empty) which was met with a lot of hostility over the request. Pretty unwelcoming response and once we placed orders for food service was really slow

The staff here is the best! I left my phone at the bar and they made it so easy to get it back even on the days they are closed. Alia is the sweetest. She made sure we were well in contact so I could pick up my stuff. I’m more than happy to return and wouldn’t even be worried if my phone was left there again lol. 11/10 bar, vibe, and staff.

We came here for dinner. When we arrived, they seated us at a very, very low table (like to our knees) right next to the crowd at the bar. They didn’t have any other tables to switch to, and because of the noise and the fact that we wanted to eat real food, we considered leaving. We decided to stick it out and thankfully the food made up for it!!! We ordered the eggplant, the potatoes, the buffalo cauliflower, the olives, and the octopus. I would highly recommend ALL of them, except maybe the octopus. It was good and I liked the combination of flavors, but it was more large meaty chunks of octopus when I typically prefer more thin and crispy. Overall, the food was fantastic.

I’ve never been to Great White – this restaurants’ bigger sister to compare but I loved my time at Gran Blanco. We got here around 11am for brunch and it wasn’t too busy at all for a Sunday. The only difficult thing is finding cheap parking nearby.
The service was very friendly and everything they recommended that we ordered was delicious. The cocktails are also very tasty! Just have to warn that the portions are on the smaller side so if you’re hungry I wouldn’t go for the fish tacos or ceviche. The French toast was delicious and very rich. I definitely would recommend to share this as a dessert with a friend. All in all perfect experience at a very pretty and vibey spot in Venice Beach.

Went there for a brunch with my friend and it was easy to get in, which is weird because it’s always full! Love the vibe at this place and the food was great!!! We got the avocado toast, the French toast and some coffee! Loved it! Service was also great!

The food was incredible! My taste buds were singing! We got the octopus and tandoori oyster mushrooms and both were perfection! I used to love this spot when it was Bank of Venice, and I always worry about these rebrands and if they’ll be good. This meal put all that worry to rest! This is now a new local favorite!
Also, the whole wine list is natural and organic. They have some great bottles and pours by the glass.
The staff is friendly and sharp. The music was fun – we were there for Saturday brunch and they had chill house/funk/disco vibes going. We dug it!
Overall, it’s fantastic and I can’t wait to go back!

Such a good restaurant. Great ocean vibe, nice people, beautiful Light and background music.
I ordered here Octopus, burger and eggplant. My favorite is eggplant with feta, very bright mediterranean taste. It’s hard to explain vibe, but these guys definately has it. Thanks for your job

Recommended by a friend – and I wasn’t disappointed. A very nice bar, perfect for cocktails and apps. Drinks were good, especially the White Negroni. The Espresso Martinis were okay-ish. Haven’t had food there yet, but it also looks very good.

Presentation was great. Burger was not so good. The balance between sauce and cheese was not mingling. There are no fries or soft drink available here… which makes this burger a non burger….imo

Drinks and food were okay and staff was abrupt. It definitely seemed like this place is more for the influencer crowd and not foodies. The waitress barely came back to the table for refills and you have 1.5 hours timed from your reservation to eat and get up and get out.
