We got take out. Everything was just average. We got rice balls, giant meatball, chicken parm and side of grilled chicken. Nothing blew us away. For the price we were disappointed. We did not like the meatball. It tasted like the meat was expired

I have lived down the street from Cosimos since I was a little girl and yesterday was my first time ever going.
The experience was not great due to a clearly inexperienced server (he was only covering) the owner himself made sure we left that restaurant with a smile and assured us this was not an accurate representation of his business and from the reviews and the way he made sure we left happy I believe him.
Now about the important part! THE FOOD!!!!
We had CHICKEN MARSALA, LOBSTER RAVIOLI, STUFFED MEATBALLS, and since the waiter put in the wrong order for me first I got to taste the SEAFOOD RAVIOLIS. The food was SO DELICIOUS! It had so much flavor!
So good in fact I went back today and got the FRIED CALAMARI AND PENE ALA VODKA and it was just as Delicious! I had the tell the owner he was right, he told me once I had the food I’d surly be back, he was so right!
This is going to be my new regular spot for sure.

This place is truly delightful, I had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti on the side and a few appetizers including Buffalo wings and Fried lasagna. The fried the lasagna was phenomenal and the wings were good. The chicken parmigiana left me hungry for more. After my dinner I was stuck on wether or not to have a strawberry shortcake or my favorite cheesecake. I ended up getting the Strawberry shortcake and oh boy I choose right. The delicacy and shear looks of this cake had me speechless. It tasted like heaven on earth. I recommend stopping here ASAP, and having a bite to eat. The reopening of this place was well deserved and I will definitely return.

We went with a group of 6, the ladies all had wine. The appetizers were Cesar salad that the dressing was very good, the rice balls were delicious, and Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing on it.
It wasn’t on the menu but I had veal franchise, I’m very particular about the franchise sauce It was very light and thin I like a much thicker franchise. But the veal was very tasty.
The waitress was very attentive and checked in periodically. A gentleman came out I’m going to show him he was the owner we asked him if he could lower the music a little bit because it was loud by our table not many tables were full in the restaurant.

4/9/22. Was there to see “The Lighter Side” perform, but to have dinner as well. First time for me at Cosimo’s and it was well worth it. Had a really good Porter to start with Calamari as a appetizer. Nice size salad and for entree had the Salmon with side of mashed potatoes. Good portions and cooked to perfection. Heather the Bartender/Server was breath of fresh air. Easy to talk to and very personable with a great smile to boot. She made for a great evening. IF your in East Patchogue area and want a bite to eat or just a cocktail, stop in and say hi. Ill be back again. Place is just right size with a cozy atmosphere. Try it out and see for yourself.

I gave two stars because the owners are very sweet and the grilled pizza is ok, but Italian food is not their forte. My rice balls were frozen on the inside, the “stuffed meatball” like it shows on the website was not stuffed with anything. It was one big wad of meat (we brought it home for our dog) and the “tomato sauce” on the sandwiches is inedible. For the price definitely not worth it. Sorry to say. We were very excited to try this place bc we legit live down the street and it was very disappointing. I’ve never had a dining experience like this. Will not be returning. No liquor license yet either. I know restaurant owners are struggling right now so I hate to give a bad review but the food is just not good. I’m Italian and this ain’t it.

We eat here at least once a week. Food is always fresh and delicious. Just the right amount of seasoning and cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef and the staff for consistently providing excellent service.

Well we haven’t been here in a while because of my health issues (back surgery) and it was great to get another fantastic meal from appetizers to desserts with fresh coffee. And again an over abundance of food for next day leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding and it was great to see Cosimo himself when he came by our table as always. We’ll be seeing you again real soon….maybe for the Brunch menu.
