Whatever you do, do NOT under any circumstance order the Thai Tea, no matter how delectable it looks in the hands of other customers. The Thai Tea is disgusting. Way too sweet, and has a hybrid cardboard/metallic aftertaste that the English dictionary is incapable of describing. I can’t speak to the rest of the food (looked delicious), but the Thai Tea lured me in. My friend and I had to chuck it and we weren’t even half way through! What a waste.

One of a collection of food stalls located in the SOFA market. A simple menu with choice selections of noodle and rice dishes, as well as banh mi. Flavors are very good and portions are adequate. Prices are in line with other comparable establishments. Friendly staff.

Love Vietnamese food and this place was good. However, for $20 a bowl (tip not included) I would expect nothing less. They charge 50 cent extra for all the little things other places normally include; shallots, peanuts. When you order everything is automated; you order at a kiosk. There was a small line, but I noticed the people working there did not say Hello or engage any of the customers. When you order via a kiosk and the people don’t even greet you it’s hard to justify an 18% tip. The food was super tasty, but again $20 is a little steep for a bowl. The location is inside of a community cafeteria style market. Very cool. Lots of great food choices, but the prices are a little on the high side, however, I did have half for lunch, and the other half of my bowl for dinner. So a decent portion.

Food had a good flavor, it went during non peek hours so it didn’t seem as fresh as it should. The lemongrass pork had a good flavor, just felt like it was the last in the pot.
The ladies at the counter weren’t that helpful and even though it’s supposed to be optional vegan or meat eggroll the woman assumed I wanted vegan. She told the other girl to give me a vegan egg roll and then I asked isn’t it optional is when she said oh yes and actually wanted the meat kind which was actually very good.
Do I have to return not really, however it’s not a terrible option. Maybe if a few hours later I didn’t keep burping the taste of the pork, which let’s me know it wasn’t as fresh.

Not a bad place to get a taste for Vietnamese food. I tried the Rice noodle bowl with stir fried tofu and crispy vegan egg roll. Despite being vegan the egg roll was delicious, crispy, flavorful, and stuffed to bursting. I wish there was option just get the egg roll on its own.

The service was great and very understanding of all dietary restrictions and allergens. Took roughly 15 minutes to prepare the order.

However, the piece at 20$ a bowl is quite prohibitive for the volume and quality of food provided.

We had the noodles rice bowl here. The taste was good but overall it was 3/4th rice noodles and very less veggies and chicken. Also egg rolls didn’t say pork and shrimp explicitly. I don’t eat pork normally so I was not happy about it.

Found this food market place (called SoFa Market) where you can choose from a variety of little food stands from Indian, sushi, Vietnamese, Colombian and others. Chose the Vietnamese option and ordered the good tasting rice noodle bowl with chicken and egg rolls. They have a large screen on the side where you can order and pay with a credit card.

Vietnoms is located in a shared space with about eight other food and beverage options. We got there before open but they were very accommodating to serve me because they already had some items ready. I had the pork bun (vermecelli) dish and it was terrific! They have water available to you for free refills which I really liked. It’s handicapped accessible.

Really solid Vietnamese spot here at SoFa Market in DTSJ. They are a semi build-your-own casual spot with some great options if you’re on the go.

Order and payment is handled completely using their kiosk. You are able to select the base of your meal: banh mi, rice bowl, or vermicelli bowl (the most popular item on the menu).

I ordered a Tofu Vermicelli Bowl ($16) with soy sauce as their only vegan friendly dressing. Everything was made fresh including construction of the veggies, boiling of the rice noodles, and the tender crispy pieces of tofu. The bowl also included a vegan egg roll and together, it was hearty and filling, hitting all the spots.

The bun-bowl I ordered with chicken and egg roll are general good. However, the vermicelli is a bit too wet and soggy for me!

This is like a food court by itself with different other vendors in the same place. I wish the seating is a bit more comfortable
