For starters, the there was a wait for a party of 4 but it definitely was well worth the wait. Food was incredible. Our table shared the meat combo and veggie combo as well as some starters (goat cheese dip and lentil sambusas). Everything was delicious. I’ve had some Ethiopian food across the country but this has been my favorite restaurant by far. I cannot wait to go back.

Amazing Ethiopian food! I highly recommend one of the platters to get a full experience. The honey wine is a perfect compliment to the food, the coffee is great and the brownie at the end is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

I went here with a few friends and I loved it. While it was my first time trying Ethiopian food, both of my friends had tried this cuisine many times before. We all agreed that the food was great. The injera was very tangy and soft and everything was plated up really beautifully. We ordered the vegetarian combo, as well as a sweet potato dish and a beef dish. Personally, my favorite was the spiced red lentils. Everything was very delicious and flavorful. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and the overall ambience is very charming and relaxing. I would definitely come here again and I’d recommend eating here if you’re in the area.

We loved this place and will definitely be back! We had the “feast for 2” vegetarian, and it was so good! The hummus was so fresh and the entree had so many wonderful flavors and textures. We didn’t think we could fit any more food in our stomachs but then the dessert came out (a delicious chocolate brownie) and we were able to find room . The service was amazing! We will be back!

Excellent Ethiopian food albeit a somewhat limited selection (no tibs!). Everything was really flavorful and the berbere was never so hot-spicy to cause sweat or pain. Injera was tart, tasty, and tender and the friendly and helpful staff kept bringing more as we gobbled it down. I especially liked the doro wot, yebeg alecha, and gomen. They were very accommodating of my 1-yo grandson.

This gets a full five star review from me. We had never been there before, but it was on the way home, so we tried. What a great experience this was! We were there with our three daughters and their best friend, who never had Ethiopian food before. We ordered a few appetizers, and then three meat and three vegetarian dishes, all served on one plate. It was astonishing how fast this quite large amount of food disappeared, and how satisfied all the faces looked. It was formidably delicious. The injera was mild and perfect. The Farmers Cheese appetizer was gorgeous, as everything, but that cheese I definitely need again soon. Great atmosphere. A wonderful Ethiopian restaurant we had not expected in Lafayette.

The vegetarian sample platter and their ingudai tibs are absolutely delicious. They were friendly and food was served quickly. There was plenty of parking which is a plus. 100% recommend it.
