Rizer’s Pork & Produce, a store, restaurant and catering business in the small town of Lodge, SC. Rizer’s is cozy country establishments where the people are friendly, the tea is sweet and the food is fresh. The Rizer family has been raising hogs and growing vegetables since I.N. and Daisy Rizer started their farm in 1952. Two of their sons joined the family farm and, in 2000, opened Rizer’s Pork & Produce to sell their homegrown vegetables and pork products. Located in Colleton County, it is worth the drive down a two-lane road to reach Rizer’s for a country buffet lunch or one of the bi-monthly steak nights.

Rizers Pork and Produce delivered a high value lunch experience today. The buffet lineup was on point with plenty of solid options that made the visit feel like a strong return on investment. The food was fresh, the service was efficient, and the ice cream station was a nice added value play. This is a cool little lunch spot if you are in the area and looking to optimize your midday stop with something simple, dependable, and genuinely good.

Food just was not good on my visit. The pork was cold and the ribs not seasoned. Not sure I’ll ever be back. Not much choice out in the low country I guess. On the plus side the shrimps and Mac and cheese we decent. Not sure I can favorably rate a place that willingly puts cold pork on a buffet.

My first time for steak night and it was great and the service was excellent! We didn’t know you were to go inside before 5:00 and put your name on the list to be notified a table was ready, but we didn’t have to wait horribly long.

went friday 11/7/25. chopped bbq, no smoke flavor, swimming in vinegar, saw them dump fresh batch into pan, was cold like it came out of fridge. collard green bland, ribs minimal flavor, just few pieces of fried chicken, was ok. No salad bar…fried shrimp good, cubed salmon ok If one is hungry and out in god’s country driving about, this is about only place to eat. Go for it, but I’ll pass on another visit. OH, if a senior, believe discount, Didnt give me one, but didnt ask, my fault. For decent BBQ, It was a miss.

Was disappointed when I saw the buffet compared to online pictures. My problem. Arrived 5 before 2:00, thought they were open later, got turned away. Then decided to let us eat. I thought that with as much food on the trays,he shouldn’t have to think about it. Too much to throw away. I declined and left.

We made the 1-hour trip to Lodge for steak night. Wanted an adventure. Service was excellent food was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time flavor was good. Can’t wait to go back.
