We have been buying doughnuts almost every weekend for over a year from here. They were always soft and perfect. The chocolate glaze was perfect, the sizes were perfect and price was affordable. Now its just blah. I hate to say it. I really do not care for them since about a month ago. the chocolate glaze doesn’t stick to them. It falls off on the first bite. It sucks because I wanted to like them. While ordering this morning they had some sort of mix up over a large to go order and I felt bad for the gentlemen who came to pick them up. Sorry guys, I get new owners or whatever but this is not okay. I want the old doughnuts back

This use to be the best place to get the freshest donuts. I mean I woukd drive 40 miles to get 3 dozen donuts from them and then tell everyone I know where to get fresh donuts. Well, like everything else this to has sold and now the donuts are not as fresh nor do they last as long, the long johns are not full of cream from end to end, now there is just a little cream on one end. After my wife ate one she said wow, these aren’t as fresh as they use to be, I then told her they sold the business last summer as I was told. Very sad one of the best places to get a fresh donut is not like every other place that sells, went down hill.

We ordered 300 donuts for dessert for our wedding reception. Boxes were labelled, donuts were delicious as always. Only regret was not ordering more apple fritters! And everybody loved the donuts! I had many people asking where they came from. I also loved having something from my little home town included in my wedding day

Love getting a dozen or two of donuts on the weekends for the kids, and a couple of coffees for us. Always walk in to the gentleman who are regulars sitting at the tables with their newspapers and coffee. Can’t beat the atmosphere of a little ole bakery, their delicious baked goods, and the friendly, helpful, hardworking staff.

They increased their prices on 10/01/2025. This now makes a dozen of donuts near $15. they increased the day old donuts over 60% and now cost $8. The fritters used to be crispy. They are fluffy now and soft. Small and dated.

The donuts are always top notch and hope the new owners dont change that. There is a new cooler for milk unfortunately they sell Kirkland organic chocolate milk which I dont care in the least. It doesn’t taste anything like Prairie Farms they had before. This has a bad after taste in my opinion and hope they go back to Prairie Farms. As with most change in ownership something gets changed. We’ll if its not broken, dont fix it.

I love this place! They have the best doughnuts and pastries. Always stocked with fresh doughnuts with a huge selection. Fresh coffee and a regular newspaper to boot! You step back into the pre-2000 era once you walk in. Everything is spotless and organized. The service is spot on. So polite and ready for any order right at 5AM. Amazing place, amazing doughnuts, amazing people. Thank you!!!!

Visiting the Ft Wayne area and went here based on reviews. The lady that helped us was so pleasant. Because we stopped closer to closing time, they were out of maple cream sticks but still had some without the cream filling. I wasn’t disappointed – the maple flavor and light, airy donut made it delicious. My friend chose an apple fritter – flaky, melt-in-your mouth goodness.
