I have been meaning to check out Butchy’s for quite some time now because I have heard good things about it. Today I was nearby and decided to stop in for lunch. I had an absolutely fabulous experience. Tamera and James (Butchy) were the consummate hosts. I sat at the counter and enjoyed my delicious food and some friendly conversation. I will certainly will be visiting this place again. When I told Tamera that I would like to eat at the counter, she responded by completely cleaning and disinfecting the entire counter/bar area both from behind the counter as well as the front, she even cleaned the chairs! All that and she seemed happy to do it. WOW!

Food was just ok. Got the pulled pork and brisket meals. No smokey flavor like I would expect from BBQ. The Mac and cheese was not creamy but rather dry and has a red pepper flavor. The cornbread was kind of boring. Large portion of meat making the price acceptable. Staff was friendly.

Wow…stopped by and was greeted by a very friendly, smiling Tamera, of whom is co-owner of Butchy’s …
I went ahead and ordered the “Wing Meal” that came with homemade cornbread and “island style” mac-n-cheese…I really liked that you could split your wing flavors in half and the mac-n-cheese will not disappoint !!
By the way, the wings are cooked to perfection and the meat falls right off the bone… cannot wait to go back and get a rack of ribs !!

We are visiting from Texas, home of many barbecue restaurants. Without a doubt, Butchy’s meat is just as good- if not better- than those places. The pulled pork was some of the best we’ve ever had and the ribs were delicious. The portions were generous, and the sauces were flavorful. We highly recommend trying Butchy’s!

Brisket dinner. Lil on the costly side but also got baked beans instead of corn bread. Beans was slamming. Loads of meat. Good food.

I was hoping for something good as I love BBQ. Unfortunately, the food is disappointing. First, the ribs aren’t St Louis style, they are baby backs, which are much leaner, and easy to overcook….theirs were very dry. When I go to any BBQ place in the country, a rack of ribs is just that, not baby backs, which can be dry, as mentioned, as well as baby backs are a much smaller portion, so poor value for what they charge. The ribs were misrepresented, if your serving baby backs, they should be advertised as such, I never order them, and wouldn’t have had I known. The pulled pork was done properly, the meat was tender and juicy, however, there was very little detectable smoke, same with the ribs, and the beans. Nothing had any discernible smoke. The sauce was very tomato forward in it’s taste profile, reminded more more of Italian sauce then BBQ. The cornbread was good. Overall not worth going back.

I had a great time today at their 1st annual car show. As usual the food was excellent. The fresh pig roast was awesome. I eat at Butch’s every chance I get. Great food, great people, great time. I recommend them to everyone.
Try them out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

The food was not good at all and the wait time was absolutely insane! The wings were dry, pulled pork had no sauce, pulled pork was also dry and had a weird flavor (ketchup maybe?). I understand a bbq place not being too great and having low prices, but at about $20 for each meal?? That’s not worth it and its insane.
