We stopped at Marcos today, and the food was great. We got a little bit of everything. Queso, guac, enchilada, rice and beans (they taste authentic) the chicken, steak and shrimp fajita plate was seasoned very well. Portions are great and the prices were even better.
We arrived around lunch time and got free queso with our chips. The food was fresh and hot, but our waitress Stacy seemed to hate working there. Reading prior reviews it seems like I’m not the only one that feels the same about the rude servers. Once I payed the cashier handed me my receipt and walked around me and straight out the door without saying anything to me. Her smoke break was calling her name I guess.. On a better note the restaurant was clean and food came out pretty quick.
Will I be back?
Probably not I can’t deal with rude people sad because the food was great.

This was my first time. My wife has been here several times so I finally took her out to lunch. My pork Carnitas were very tasty and a good serving size. Friendly atmosphere, prompt service and friendly wait staff. Will be back!

Food is a step above decent. The food is great but the 2 women that serve/Host had a bad attitude so it kind of put a dampening on the whole experience. Would I eat there again? Sure. Price was right on point for the quality. Chef is talented,wait staff= miserable females that apparently don’t like their job.

Start out the girl who took my order was very polite and curdious. No issues, sweet girl. The man who took my payment was very short and looked to be stressed or something. He did say thank u after handing me our food to go. When getting home and opening it up, it all looked good and the flavor was there, but chicken in fajitas was way over cooked and very thin. Steak was very good as was the rice and beans. My son’s 10 dollar quesadilla was not worth the money but did taste very good. All in all my only complaint was the dry, over cooked, thin chicken.

We had our company Christmas party there this year (2025). This was the best Mexican food I have eaten in a very long time . The fajita meat was so very tender. So easy to eat. The queso sauce was spectacular and the hot sauce was sweet and not overly hot .
Did I mention how much I enjoyed this place???
I was to full for desert but it looked good . Waitress promptly took our orders, got it right the first time .
Prices are decent, most meals are around 11.00. Portions are enough to get full on.

Awesome food,drinks, and service. With your chips and salsa. You’ll get queso. Timber, the bartender, makes yummy and beautiful drinks. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Reasonably priced. They have happy hour 3 to 6. Hours 10:30am to 9:00 pm. Except Sunday and Monday.

This place is a place I would recommend to friends and family. The servers are pros and they greet and help you with a smile. True Texas charm. Love Marcos and can’t wait until we come back!

This is not just the best Mexican food in town. It’s the best I’ve had in East Texas! I’ve never had such tender flavorful beef fajitas. And their Hawaiian fajitas were a special treat because they’re unique and I love pineapple!
I also tried the delicious Chicken Chimichanga my husband ordered, and it was tender inside; and freshly crisp on the outside.
(Fun fact: fresh mashed refried beans tend to look gray. They’re only brown if they’ve been out a long time or come from a can)
Our server, Kennedy, was new (they all are since the restaurant recently opened) but she was very attentive and continued to make sure we had everything we needed.
All this amazing food for two came to just $31. And we had plenty of leftovers to take home. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent food, prices, portions, and friendly staff. Nice decor and booths. Kirsten was our server. She took great care of us. Ordered the chimichanga and enchilada dinners. Complimentary chips salsa and queso. Thank you, Marcos!

Good restaurant. Service great. Loved having salsa and queso with our chips at the start. The Carne Asada was really good. But of a bite! The #4 burrito was good. The #7 flauta and taco bit overcooked and under seasoned. Margarita really good.
