Ok small town eatery. Took forever to get service and food. We were the only ones in there. We ordered pancakes and 1 omelet it took 30 min to get to the table. Portions are small for the price. The cajun potatoes were amazing

Wow if you want REAL ingredients in your breakfast for a great price and to have great service this is a GEM. Also the sourdough is phenomenal. Not a huge fan of the coffee but I’m pickier about that. Very attentive staff. The food is all home made and NOT giant portions of low quality stuff. Only about $35 for two and bonus there’s a Diaper changing table with extra supplies in the bathroom!

Excellent breakfast spot in Mason, Michigan with a great menu and delicious food. Definitely worth a try!! I ordered the G.O.A.T omelette served with breakfast potatoes and multi toast. Sis ordered the Besto Pesto with regular eggs instead of the egg whites, feta cheese, spinach, zucchini, and Guiding Light Garlic Farm pesto! Both were absolutely delicious!!! Meals took only 10 minutes to arrive at our table and service was great!! This restaurant has such a great ambience. Note that there are several options of pastries available at the counter as welll for a quick stop in along with quiche and freshly baked bread!

lovely atmosphere, biscuits n gravy was amazing!! i love how quiet and calm it is inside. the food is delicious, my only complaint is that i got a lemon scone to go so i could eat it on the road and i found a very very long brown hair embedded in it while eating it.

I went in there to grab some cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning. The bakery has a cool urban vibe with tall loft style ceilings. The girls working behind the counter were nice and courteous. The cinnamon rolls were served warm with a respectable amount of icing. The cinnamon rolls weren’t huge, but for the price it was worth it. I’d definitely go back but they’re hours or so limited, it makes it hard to be a regular customer. Hopefully with time they expand their limited menu and hours.

We were here on a Saturday and it was very busy! They informed us before seating us that it would be a 45 minute wait for food, which was very kind to inform us ahead of time. Although we did end up waiting awhile, the food was worth it and the staff was sure to check in frequently.

The food was clearly made from scratch and all tasted fresh and delish! The sausage gravy was to die for. And the very berry French toast was both tart and sweet! All in all a very good experience, and although I wouldn’t go if I was in a rush during peak hours, I would definitely visit again!

Risen is a wonderful place to get breakfast! I was promptly greeted, sat, and order taken. The waitress made sure I had a refill on coffee while I waited. Service was quick and efficient!

The food was delicious! I ordered the Southern Comfort with Cajun potatoes. The sausage gravy was well seasoned and the eggs were done perfectly! I am in love with the Cajun seasoning on the potatoes! It was the perfect amount of spice without it being overly spicy. The sourdough toast was delicious as well, my only complaint would be I wish I had more! (Not that I really needed it).

Had a goat cheese, green onion, and sweet potato omelet with Cajun potatoes and English muffin toast. Everything was delicious! I like that they use seasonal and local ingredients when they can, too. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu in the future, as well as trying more of the bakery selection.

Talk about a niche little town breakfast nook, warm ambiance, and friendly staff. Food is amazing, biscuits and gravy is what I had this week, last week had the sausage and pepper quiche! Menu switches, but keeps your palette diverse, prices are extremely reasonable! Highly recommend

This was our first opportunity to stop in and try this out for ourselves. The coffee was good, the muffins were thick and dense and very tasty. Dan and his team we’re engaging and friendly and pleased that we had taken time to stop in and give them a try. Looking forward to good things for this business and I would highly recommend you stop in and give them a warm welcome to the Mason area.
