I thought it would be quaint and awesome to experience 1982 here at Burger Plus, but, sigh, 1982 feels like the worst kind of midwestern food desert. Not a vegetable in sight. (Oh, wait, didn’t Reagan say ketchup was a vegetable?) The steak special is some form of unchewable meat on a bun (white bread, of course) with “seasoned” (powder dumped on prefab) fries. At this price point, I’m not sure why sauce costs extra.
Maybe I’m asking too much of the world. Maybe I would just like some nice blue state food (there is more to salad than iceberg lettuce!) before a nice red state rodeo. Kristi Noem looks like she is surely getting all her anti-oxidants, so clearly it’s possible. But I feel like I just got poisoned…

DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! The building is definitely 70’s fresh but the food blew us away! You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Pizza burger was awesome! Kids love the different flavors of soft serve ice cream(20+). Awesome spot after a long day at the water park! I’ve never seen such a big menu selection at a fast food place! They even had steaks and baked potato!

This place is so vintage it is awesome. I have seen brand new burger joints that were dirtier but even after the 50+ years it has been here this place looks good. To be fair the place must have been remodeled in the 70’s give it take.
Anyway long story short good food, good service, clean place. Give it a try, you will not regret it.

Overall murky inside appearance. Good customer service. The burger… If you’d call it that was extremely thin, the spacing between the tines of my fork was bigger. Not allergy friendly. The sandwich toppings were good. The fries were decent. Also enjoyed listening to employee give her boyfriend the 3rd to free about their relationship, during the middle of her shift.

The girl at the counter was nice. The food was bad. The kitchen worker was awful. Quote of the night. “A number two! mother f***** go away!” I didn’t even get the free ice cream with the kids meal for my daughter. Booked it out of there and will never return.

Be sure to ask for ED (Erma’s Dressing) for dipping your fries and onion rings, and don’t forget the hamburger salt seasoning.
Their steaks are surprisingly good, it’s not Morton’s steakhouse quality but you get what you pay for.
The drive through special is a good value for the price but adding cheese to the burger is an added $0.50 (IIRC).
To be honest, if you’ve read Stephen King’s book “11/22/63”, Burger Plus reminds me of the diner.

Nice alternative to McDonald’s or fast food. Workers were pleasant and helpful. Brought crackers to my young boys while we waited. Food was fast. Enjoyed a small salad with the basket for a great price.

I was there about 2 years ago and enjoyed it but this time not so much. My fiance was wanting a big taco so we stopped for lunch. I got a bacon cheeseburger. I could have went to mcdonalds and got a better burger. The patties were two tiny little patties, think breakfast sausage patties. Tasted like they were fresh from the freezer. Now the bacon on there, two very thin strips of bacon. And the bun was bigger than the burger by about a quarter of an inch at least. Lastly the shake I ordered. Rum flavored, tasted like there was actual alcohol in it; all the way to the burn you get when you drink alcohol. All in all I probably won’t be back unless it’s to pick him up a big taco.

If you go to Huron and you dont come here, you’re a fool. This food is amazing! It may seem pricey at first but when you get it, it’s delicious! Great food, great staff, and great timing! Also they have a special sauce that is EXTREMELT great! Dont judge the food by the photo since it is much better!

Pros: Better tasting fast food than the usual. Variety of different ice cream flavors and colors for cheap.
