I love that I can get raw oysters on the half shell in downtown Fort Kent! This was my first time visiting the Pub. As soon as you step inside you feel like you have been transported to old port in Portland. Also really like that it is open late on Friday and Saturday. One waitress and bartender seemed to be running the show and they kept up pretty well. Can’t wait to go back and try the shrimp bloody mary.

Food is AMAZING! We loved everything we ordered and we all shared with each other because of how good it was. Atmosphere is very friendly. The floor plan is open and relaxed. Love the excitement inside. The place was buzzing on a Wednesday night. Tends to be a little loud so expect that. The owners were there and working hard along with the staff. They obviously care deeply about their business.

Amazing gastro pub food, great beer selection and awesome service! Had oysters, the best bread sticks ever, chips and salsa, a burger with a fried egg and steak and cheese flat bread. Yummy! We’ll be back next time we come to Maine!

Rolled into town after canoeing the Allagash Wilderness Waterway (saw 3 moose!) and every placed was closed except Walkers. Cool atmosphere and interesting menu. Oysters! Wings! Ceviche! However, the kitchen was closed after 9pm so we couldn’t order. The staff kindly offered us loaded nachos after seeing how hungry we were 🙂 Avoid the overly sweet mixed drinks and go for a local brew. Fast, friendly and flexible service. Samples available for beer tasting 🙂 Well done, tiny town ❤

I’m certain this is a great place to drink. My burger was so burnt I couldn’t cut into it with a knife… yet the cheese on it wasn’t melted. Fascinating. If you can’t handle a burger, I’m not real confident about the ceviche.
Cute interior. Super shame…

The food is delicious but the serving was just too long during my visit. It’s my fault. I should have mentioned I had an appointment to get to in an hour…2 and a half hours later i was able to walk out of the restaurant with a full belly (one flatbread and two sodas). I’ll go back for the food and drink but I’ll be sure I don’t have any plans or meetings afterwards

I was visiting friends in Edmundston this past weekend and based on their high recommendations we headed to Walkers Pub on Saturday night for our evening out meal. We were so disappointed 🙁 the pub atmosphere was fantastic – a real ambience – our waitress was friendly and apologetic for the problems. She had neglected to put in our order and came to the table to tell us – after we had been there about 1 hour – a while later we got our appetizers – and it went downhill from there. We were there approximately 2 1/2 hours waiting for nacho’s, a couple of burgers and chicken sliders & quesadilla – our taters were luke warm and couldn’t be eaten. We asked her once when our food would be ready – she said they were working on it – after some more delays we called her back over to say were leaving in 5 minutes if the food didn’t come. Another 4 minutes went by before our food started arriving. We received our bills and not one penny taken off for our inconvenience – it seemed like our waitress made a mistake and didn’t want anyone else to know – as it ended up everyone else in the place was served their food before us – once her mistake was admitted. Very disappointed with the overall experience – Next time I visit friends I’ll try somewhere else. If I could give no stars I would – hopefully this was a one time bad night and not the norm.

Tammy was our server, she was very welcoming and pleasant. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere was great! Definitely my favorite restaurant in Fort Kent. Walkers Pub is a must when considering dinning out in Fort Kent.

This was not good food. The wait time was extremely long and it was not busy … his meal (tenderloin) came 15 minutes before mine. Mine was redone because “they messed up” and overcooked when it did come. When asked if I wanted a to go box because I’d really eaten nothing, I said no thank you and told them why….$90 later… no thank you.

Not a pleasant experience. Out of steak, lobster and pickles???
Mac and cheese, more like dried out chicken, frozen broccoli ( in a region with tons of fresh) and alfredo….
Pass on by, McDonald’s better… which we went to after…
