In a nutshell; Staff was awesome, doughnuts were great.
Intrigued by their new management sign and boba offerings, hilltop donuts provides excellent choices to satisfy your sweet cravings. The staff were nice and kindly answered and inquiry or questions I had. Even when I went rather later on the day the doughnuts were still great. The bubble waffle was good albeit a bit messy. The boba was decent. Overall I suggest anyone looking for sweets to swing by.

Hilltop Donuts has seriously leveled up! Since the new ownership, this place has completely transformed. Not only are the donuts fresh and updated with so many fun flavors, but they’ve also added an amazing variety of options—boba, breakfast sandwiches, shakes, and smoothies. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and you can tell they put real care into both quality and customer service. It’s become my new go-to spot whether I’m craving something sweet in the morning or an afternoon pick-me-up. If you haven’t checked out the “new” Hilltop Donuts yet, you’re missing out! I just visited this donut shop and was blown away by their maple bar. As a donut lover, this was one of the best donuts I’ve had in a long time. Everything was perfect! The strawberry snow was delicious. My son said his brown sugar milk tea was tasty, and I ordered the panda milk tea again. I highly recommend any of these.

10/10!! Everything is so fresh and so good. Their bagels are so so good!! All the fun drinks and matcha are so amazing! My new go to! Please check them out if you haven’t already. The service is friendly and amazing. They even give you a free doughnut with the purchase of a drink!! The doughnuts are perfect, fluffy and not too sweet. 100% recommend!!

Under new management, I love a “regular” mom and pop doughnut shop. Friendly staff and the donuts are really delicious and fresh, they aren’t crazy sweet and they melt in your mouth!!! They serve coffee and other beverages. I took a dozen home and my family devoured them, literally left me nothing. Had to run and buy another box the next morning.

Wow! I have always loved hilltop donuts, so I was already expecting it to be great, but I am thinking they are under new ownership. It is a huge upgrade , they have sandwiches all day, boba tea and delicious donuts. We came in the afternoon and even got a free round donut with the purchase of our boba tea, it was a fun little bonus.

I always have a great experience no matter what time of the day I come in. I usually come in for a French vanilla, it’s always so tasty and very warm, perfect for a cold day like today…. Their donuts are always a classic. But my favorite is their bagels, particularly the cheddar jalapeno ones, and they always offer to toast it and add plenty of cream cheese which I love.

The employee was nice, the food was good, it was quick, and there are so many caffeine free options which is what I’m so happy about considering I can’t have any caffeine. The variety is so vast. Definitely recommend. 🙂 The employees also added some extra donut holes which I found quite nice.

I avoided this place for a long time after moving to the area. The old store had pretty bad reviews and it didn’t look great from the outside.
New managers have done a great job turning it around though. It’s really clean inside and the donuts are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and even gave me a few extra donut holes.
I’m glad we have a good donut place close by now so I don’t have to drive into Yuba city.

I visited this donut shop about a year ago and vowed never to return. My wife and I drove by this morning and saw the new ownership sign and decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised in how different our experience was this time, from the food to the service. The coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches were all delicious. Highly recommend
