This is a meal I will be thinking about until I return. This is the kind of place that makes you SO glad that you live in this neck of the woods! We will be back. Each dish is so carefully crafted. Unique and flavorful! The variety of raw oysters and the butternut squash puree, creamy risotto, crispy brussel sprouts all plated with the most delicious scallops and pesto! WHAT!?!? How did the chef put this flavor fantasy together!?!? Im a customer for LIFE ❤️

We made a reservation a few days in advamcr since we were a party of 6. Valerie was our server and she was great! The food is fantastic. Being a restaurant owner myself, I know just how much goes into making each of their sauces and recipes. The food was fantastic. Every starter and entree we ordered was amazing. Pimento and grits bites, crispy chicken bites, Lobster Picatta, TexGa NY Strip was very good. The Filet was probably the best plate. The firecracker oysters were the best I have had in years. Our kids had the burgers and found them a little too charred. (Probably could have been fixed by ordering them cooked to a medium) They ran out of the dessert all of us wanted, but the Key Lime Creme Brulee was way more delicious than it had any business being. Lol. Definitely will be back to try other plates and hopefully the Chocolate-Caramel ganache tart.

Visited last evening for dinner and boy are we impressed! I had the BangBang chicken and my wife had the BangBang shrimp, both were on a bed of brown rice and not quite sure which one I liked better! We shared a chocolate/caramel tart and wow was that good! GREAT meal at a very reasonable price. Abby was our server and she was EXCELLENT!! Very good atmosphere! Was a perfect evening start to finish. We definitely will return.

Nice ambience and great dining. We were staying in Demorest & could not find any restaurants that offered anything close to fine dining. Then I came across Holden Oversoul kitchen. I pulled up the menu on my phone and was so happy to see the wonderful dishes they offered. I brought a group of 6 for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious !!

Leann was our server and what a knowledgeable and fun person. Ever dish we ordered was phenomenal. The shrimp and grits with fried green tomatoes was the best. The savory grits and tender shrimp….beyond words….definitely a gem!

Yum! We started with the lobster bisque- very rich & creamy but not much lobster. The 26oz bone in ribeye & crab cake entrees were amazing! The raspberry aperol spritz was delicious & refreshing!
Note that parking is very limited. We visited on a Friday night, so the wait was over an hour. We ended up waiting about 2 hours for a table because of rain and people moving inside from the patio… so be sure to do a call ahead seating! Can’t wait to come back!

The food at Holden Oversoul Kitchen and Oysters is absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and made with love. And don’t even get me started on the oysters… they are out of this world! So fresh and perfectly prepared, they completely stole the show.

We recently held our 20-person work Christmas party dinner here, and it couldn’t have gone better! The outdoor patio was warm and cozy despite the winter weather, creating the perfect festive atmosphere. The food was fantastic—every single person commented about how delicious their meal was. The appetizers, especially the fried green tomatoes and crab dip, were generous and a huge hit with the group.
The servers were friendly, attentive, and made the evening run smoothly from start to finish. A special shoutout to the chef, who was incredibly helpful in planning the event and tailoring a menu that fit our group’s needs perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A little hesitant to share this review because it’s a hidden gem and want to keep it a secret, But this one checks off all the boxes, Probably the best meal I’ve had in a while – Burger, Shrimp, oysters and fresh pork rinds. Do yourself a favor and check this place out , Great service from Kacey, he was great!
