We’ve eaten here for years. The food is always good, freshly prepared.
I had coconut shrimp for the first time. It’s not traditional, but is deep fried shrimp with a delicious coconut sauce. Wow
(I usually order Kung Pao chicken, and she makes it not spicy for me.) also very good.
Hubs ordered General Tso’s chicken. Mildy spicy. (But, he likes very spicy food, so his mildly…)
He usually orders the Pupu platter and always enjoys it.
The portion sizes are generous.

It blows my mind the people leaving the bad reviews on here. We’ve ordered from here countless times throughout the years and have NEVER been disappointed. It’s always hot and they make everything very well. We’ve tried probably 20 different things on their menu and haven’t been let down yet.

This last time we got coconut shrimp, moo goo gai pan, teriyaki chicken skewers, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, fried rice and steamed dumplings and don’t have a negative thing to say about any of them. Especially getting it to-go which can get a little rough on the way home with breaded food getting mushy and all that. It all held fine (given it was only a 12 minute drive). The inside in small but very inviting. I hope these nit picky people loosen up some and try to enjoy life a little more. If you like Americanized Chinese food I highly recommend this place. If you don’t, maybe move on to the next restaurant and keep the ignorant negative reviews for the next place.

P.S. I understand some of the reviews are valid and must have caught them on an off night but most are overdramatic Yelp warriors. Ignore them and give it a try to see for yourself.

The food was delicious and we got our food really fast. Very nice lady in the front. The thing that stood out the most was how clean it was in the restaurant. Great place to eat lunch.

I am begging you people not to eat here. This was the worst Chinese food I have eaten in the 68 years that I have been alive. I took three teaspoons of soup and pushed it to the side I ordered the general tso dinner. It was so overcooked it was s like trying to eat gravel. The whole meal tasted like mold. And it keeps on giving ,as I am sitting on the porcelain throne. Hugging a trash can. Praying I will live thru this night. I will eat out of a dumpster , before I set foot in this place , EVER again.

I have always liked this place. It was my number 1 go to when I wanted Chinese. I won’t be ordering it again. Had to throw out the won ton soup as the won tons had spoiled meat in them. The spare ribs tasted like they were made about 4 days ago and the veggie delight would be more appropriately called broccoli delight.

I got the Orange Chicken combo and it came out hot and the taste was decent. However, the fried rice is more akin to Mexican rice, and not noticeably fried at all. Neither the onion. The amount of rice is not a lot at all. The Orange Chicken itself tastes okay but the chicken is really hard to chew and stringy. It’ll take me 30 seconds to chew each chicken in fear it might get lodged in my throat. I’ve had the same meal at another No. 1 Chinese in Nashville that puts way more care into the food. Sadly I won’t be coming back here for good Chinese.

I have been a very long time customer here, and unfortunately the quality of food has gotten to the point where it’s not eatable, and made myself and my family sick. I ordered the same meal we have gotten multiple times, but since this year has unfortunately gotten worse. The soup I ordered was basically only rice with tap water, and the chicken we ordered made me very sick after eating. Unfortunately this will be the last time I or my family will be ordering from here.

This is best local Chinese carryout we’ve found (tried all we’re aware of). Pretty extensive menu for a small place.
