Reviews
Visited Al Khairabad Hotel on I.I. Chundrigar Road with friends after hearing a lot about their Malai Tikka and Makhni Mong Daal — both supposedly their top picks.
Taste? Just average.
Nothing really stood out. The malai tikka lacked that creamy, juicy punch you expect, and the daal was just okay. Honestly, we kept eating mostly because we were hungry — not because the food wowed us.
Pricing vs. Quality? Not matching.
The prices were on the higher side, especially considering the overall quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Ambience? A big no.
The place felt rundown and was swarming with stray cats — not the kind of dining vibe you’d hope for.
⭐ Final Rating: 6/10
Not a place I’d personally recommend to friends. Definitely room for improvement in both food and environment.
It’s one of the oldest Iranian cafes in karachi. The surroundings are very noisy, but the pocket friendly food really attracts you to visit Al Khairabad. Great memories that place brought me to.
the best dish is the Beef Chullu Kebab.
These are Persian restaurant. Irani people’s have awesome taste of food.
