A-M-A-Z-I-N-G grinders hot from the oven! Nicely toasted, open faced with melted cheese and the bread doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the sandwich. Truly delicious and even though we didn’t wait long, it’ll be worth any wait you might have!

I moved a block away 2 years ago. My work hours in Portland kept me from being able to go during their business hours. Made it today. And YUM! Worth the anticipation. So good! Friendly staff. I’m so happy with my sandwich! One of the best ive had. Will continue to support! So good. Highly recommend.

The hours are weird, the décor is a little weird and it’s pretty much take out only. The sandwiches are good, but I stopped coming here because I kept finding animal hair in my food.
I think one of the ladies who makes the sandwiches owns a pet with white and black fur because I found a white and black animal hair in my sandwich the last two times went. For almost $20 with tip, it’s not worth it.
I won’t be going back.

I’m waiting for my order and got motivated to make a review even before tasting the food out of pure shock.
I ordered a sandwich, and it was $14 for a 6” and a 1oz bag of chips. Not a typo the tiny 1oz bags from the huge multi packs.
I’ve been waiting over 20min, and every employee is just sitting around on their phones. There’s no eating inside, just random chairs strewn on the floor for waiting. They can clearly see I’m waiting for my order but they aren’t even working on it. Seriously what is wrong with these people? Zero respect for other peoples time, especially when paying for something is ridiculous. I don’t care what the sandwich will taste like at this point who knows how long they’ll have me wait for.

Best sandwiches in town, hands down. Lots of options, high quality meats and cheese. I love a good Italian sub and Vinne’s does it right.

**Edit, 5 years later. They used to not only be the best sandwich shop in town, they were maybe the best I’ve been to. I still like their sandwiches but it’s definitely not what it was several years ago. The meat has a more processed texture then it used to, kinda rubbery or something. The toppings seem to be a little more sparse and bread has changed. The sides are about 2 bites worth. Some days they’ve made me feel like I was bothering them by ordering, and they always seem to be closed. I’m sad.

The meatball sandwich is a meal that looks great, tastes fabulous and can be enough for two sittings. My spouse is head over heels over the Angelina and makes sure that only that sandwich will occupy her place at the table. If you want to customize your sandwich, talk to them and they will make your sandwich yours as you want it. Vinnie’s sandwiches are highly recommended!
