I came for a DD order. Not only was no staff available, but when one finally came they were smacking their lips and licking their fingers.. they weren’t even open very long at this time. There was no excuse 5 employees were all eating in the back and vaping out of sight. They seemed annoyed I was there. By the time my order was nearly ready 10 mins later other DD orders had come in, 6 more to be exact. The manager came out the back threw their hands up upset what happened.7 orders this is ridiculous…. well I guess excuse customers for ordering food? If this is how management and staff behave to customers and DD that is unprofessional, unsanitary, and uncalled for on all levels. We will definitely not be dining here in the future til better staff is available.

I have been a regular, I sometimes order 2-3 times a week. I’m almost done with ordering here. I ordered dinner through the mobile app when I was leaving work. Was there within 5 mins of ordering. Sat in the drive thru for about 5 mins behind 2 cars. Parked, went inside and there were 4 people waiting and no one to ask about my order. After waiting inside with no help and people waiting I went back out and hit the drive thru again. Same 2 cars waiting. Over 20 mins and didn’t move 1 car. I parked again, went back inside and kind of loudly announced my problem. My food had been ready and sitting in a bag. A frozen strawberry lemonade was half melted, they didn’t have the promo cupcake they advertise and gave me (1) cheap pie to make up for that expensive cupcake. I like the food but poor service and management makes me not want to go there.
About 2 weeks ago me and a coworker went there for lunch. Good thing we have an hour lunch because it took 30 mins to get our food inside.

I don’t why this Popeyes doesn’t have a higher rating! It’s by far the best damn place we’ve eaten in Dickson. It’s up there with Zaxbys and Applebees! The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was super nice! We will definitely be back! The summer bundle YUM the blackened strips YUM ! The mashed potatoes are off the chain!

The last two times I have ordered takeout I ended up with a totally incorrect order. I ordered plain spicy wings and ended up with wings drenched in spicy sauce. They also neglected to put my biscuit in my combo. Unfortunately I did not find this out until I arrived home and it is too far away to return to correct it. Twice in a row does not give me any incentive to give you another chance which is a shame since I usually really enjoy your food. The next closest restaurant is too far away from me so I guess I’ll have to switch to Bojangles, not as good chicken but the send me home with what I order.

So I pull into this Popeyes and I’m waiting for the car in front of me, which is ordering a $40 order. I figured maybe I’ll go into the lobby and make better time since I’m only ordering, one single chicken breast. So I pull out a drive-thru and I drive up to one door and it has a note on the front, and I’m hoping it says… Use other door. So then I got to the other door and I noticed it had a note on it also, at that point I figured the dining room was closed even though it was before 9:00. So at this time I said well I guess I’ll go to drive through again and to my dismay… The car that was there before was still there. So I waited approximately 7 or 8 minutes till they were finished with their order and I overheard the drive-thru worker Tell them their total was $46. So I pull up I asked him if the dining room was closed his response was yes. So I told him that all I wanted was one piece of chicken that is there anyway I don’t have to wait for them to make a $46 order for one piece of chicken. His response was… Yeah I got you man… So I ordered one chicken breast. The total for one chicken breast was $3.17. I know I know $3.17 no big deal… But look at the picture are you serious. And the fact that it took me 15 minutes to get this little piece of chicken that was borderline cold was absolutely ridiculous. I just don’t get it anymore I don’t understand what is going on with society why customer service is just terrible anymore. All the employers want to cut corners wherever they can including labor so they can make all their millions of dollars. Why the customer suffers. $3.17 for a piece of chicken that doesn’t even fill my hand. Terribly disappointed. Especially considering I once work for Popeyes when I was 17 years old and I am now 54. It is amazing and totally unbelievable how much customer service and quality of food have changed over the years. I was trained to value the customer more than anything. And that the customer was always right. No matter what. Even when they’re wrong, we treated them like they were right. Those days are over I guess Popeye’s has their millions of dollars now they don’t need customers anymore that appreciate good quality customer service.

When you order food through their drive thru, YOU BETTER CHECK the bag BEFORE you leave. You orde 8 pieces of Chicken/ Family meal which comes with a large side and 4 biscuits. Well then you get home with 8 pieces of chicken , and find out you got 3 wings 3 drumsticks and 2 thighs, Along with 2 biscuits and no side for $27+. That is really sorry value by any standards.
