Food and service consistently a 5 star. From the half sour pickle and sweet red pepper table appetizer and warm bread and butter being delicious and different from most restaurants, it’s hard to beat. Every plate we’ve had has been delicious. The ribeye, the shrimp scampi, the salmon, the crab cakes and the tuna tartare do not disappoint. The bread pudding is a must for dessert. Nothing has disappointed. Rob our waiter was a gem for our 31 anniversary celebration. He was amazing and took care of our every need. Can’t wait to see him again. Thank you Rob for making our day special.

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. As guests of the Omni Barton Creek, we had access to a back entrance, but I was surprised to see the entryway cluttered with boxes and chairs, which didn’t create the best first impression.
Our waiter was wonderful—personable and friendly—and he did an excellent job of informing us about the off-menu items.
Now, onto the food. We started with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which were delicious but quite heavy. In retrospect, we probably shouldn’t have ordered them, as they filled us up and made it hard to enjoy the rest of our meal.
For the main course, my wife chose the seabass with risotto and asparagus. Initially, we hesitated but because the waiter assured us the risotto was light, my wife decided to give it a try, but I can confidently say it was quite rich. Unfortunately, my wife couldn’t eat much of it, and for $70, it felt like a waste.
On the other hand, my New York strip was fantastic—generous portions that I couldn’t finish. The glazed carrot was impressive, large, and very tasty. However, the baked potato was similar to what you’d find at Outback Steakhouse, but not quite as substantial.
Overall, the experience was decent, but I probably wouldn’t return. Since we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary at the hotel, it was convenient to dine here. I’d rate it a solid 4 out of 5, but with some room for improvement.

I had the fillet mignon butterflied and it was so tender. Lovely flavor, I shared my friend’s deserts, the carrot cake was my favorite. Big portion size❤️ one of our guests had problems with their order, our server was not wanting to fix the problem, and tried to avoid correcting it and not willing to take it off the bill; but the manager stepped in and provided excellent service. Bob is one of my favorite steak houses.

My favorite steak house!!! Great steaks, drinks, service and atmosphere. World’s biggest and best carrot with every steak. Wine selection is great. Always super service. Pro tip. Sit up on the rooftop and watch CFB!!! Must go!!

What a magnificent service. This is an upscale chophouse.
Our waiter was great and the manager Donovan made our experience even better.
For appetizers we had the lobster bites and scallops. My oh my the lobster bites were amazing. The scallops were large in size and were almost as equally as good.
For entree’s we had the ribeye, and specials which were the wagyu & lobster with baked potato and smashed potatoes.
The ribeye was cooked to perfection as well as the wagyu.
At the end we had a brownie ice cream sundae. Which was super moist. The ice cream was great!

The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was amazing and so delicious. The shrimp scampi pasta, I requested to substitute with seared scallops, and it was a great decision. The scallops was delicious.

Wow. The NY Strip was prepared impeccably well. Hats off to the chef. Everything in fact was pure perfection. From the warm bread, the Chophouse salad, side of broccoli & of course the Dirty Bob. Fantastic.
The restaurant is located right outside the entrance of the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The hotel is massive but necessarily so because I sure needed a walk after a meal I could not devour lol
They also offer homemade pickles & peppers. The waitress said who makes them only makes them specifically for Bob’s & that they are known for them. If you don’t see any on your table be sure to ask for them to give it a try.
The service was phenomenal.
I’m sure you’ll be very pleased here for a special occasion or a nice treat.

Juliette is the perfect combination of professional, personable, and genuinely warm. She greeted us with a bright smile and immediately made us feel welcome — like we were longtime friends rather than just guests at a table.
