After coming here for over 17 years, this place has been my go to whenever I’m back home. The calm environment as well as the memories are enough of a reason to return. The food is exceptional; Sushi Na-Ra is what started my love of sushi when I was 10 years old. The owners and all who have worked here have continued to provide excellent service and quality food, if ever in the area definitely try their Spicy Yankee Roll or Yaki Udon if looking for something that’s not sushi.

I really can’t say enough good things. The service, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the sushi, were all absolutely incredible. I am quite a sushi snob and I really thought we would never find good sushi in the capital region/upstate in general—we’ve been almost everywhere else. 15/10 experience!

What a little treasure for delicious sushi! It’s a small place with a few tables but the intimate environment and attention is just what you need sometimes. I ordered take out and the sushi and special rolls were absolutely delicious and fresh. Service was also top notch and made me want to return again soon. Highly recommend for food and service in the Clifton Park area.

First time dining here. Ordered soup, seared tuna, 2 rolls- spicy salmon and avocado and cucumber. All freshly prepared. All delicious. Service was excellent. Clean and comfortable environment. Will definitely dine here again.

hands down the absolute BEST and most authentic sushi in the capitol region. not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating! my family has been going here for years and they always remember us! they even made something that they no longer served for my very particular grandfather who didn’t realized that they had updated their menu. i genuinely cannot recommend this place enough, if you’re a sushi/ Japanese cuisine lover and haven’t tried them out you’re seriously missing out!

Only REAL fish served at this mom and pop pop establishment! My family and I have been coming here for years and have NEVER been disappointed. I recommend it ALL the time to friends and clients. The owners could not be any friendlier and accommodating. Always a pleasure to go there and have them welcome us by our names! Not on the menu? NO PROBLEM! They will make whatever you want! If you haven’t tried Sushi NaRa, get over there at once. You will not be disappointed!

What a beautiful gem in the area, fantastic sushi and the nicest folks ever, seriously the service was wonderful. If your looking for a cute little place to go with maybe 2-5 people this is it, big hits with my family were the teriyaki chicken, vegetables, tempura shrimp and a delicious assortment of sushi for me (the spicy girl was terrific!). Big recommend for sushi fans or just great service in general, try the ginger ice cream too!

The supremely nice owner welcomed us to his restaurant and thanked us for coming. He then gave us a “grand tour” of the menu, explaining each category of item and how everything worked. He truly set the tone for a beautiful evening. We ordered salmon sushi, tuna sushi, and a spicy tuna roll. The sushi was delicious and silky smooth. The roll was fantastic. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, with lighting and decor making the restaurant suitable for a casual bite or a nice date spot. We will return both for the food and the owner!

I have never been here before but my 11 year old wanted some sushi. They were very accommodating and made the order how he liked it in only a few minutes. He said it was delicious. No complaints.
