I wanted a salad and my partner wanted a sandwich so we settled on Sidewalk Cafe. Cute little spot! I got the beet salad and he got the italian grinder. Both were SO GOOD. The lettuce was clearly massaged with the dressing which is always a nice touch vs dumping it on top. Good amount of food for the price. Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu 🙂 thank you!

Huge fan of the Beet Reuben sandwich here. Brilliant concept and super execution with the toasty melted queso Oaxaca. Cute building, look up for the herons, and enjoy the patio on a sunny day.

Absolutely loved this cozy little café!
I ordered the brown beef sandwich—and wow, it was seriously impressive. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the whole sandwich felt like something you’d find on a high-end restaurant menu. Thoughtfully crafted and delicious.
I was also served a full French press of freshly brewed coffee, and it was top-tier—smooth, bold, and clearly made from quality beans. Huge bonus.
The staff—both the cashier and the cook—were kind and welcoming. The space itself is charming and relaxed, with outdoor seating available if you want to enjoy the fresh air.
Highly recommend if you’re into good food, good vibes, and great coffee!

Best Sandwichs in town !! Had a BLT and husband Turkey special – excellent. Even the woman next to us, raved about her Sandwich! Coming back for the famous Meatballs and Reuben. Atmosphere, super friendly, listening to Big Mouth “baby i love your way”

How many times did we drive/walk by here before we stopped? Too many times(sorry Sidewalk Cafe!). We popped in after our weekly Farmers Market stop. I know the market has lots of food options, and we eat there too, but give this small-ish but super friendly cafe a go. The bagel sandwiches are so tasty-perfectly toasty warm and not tough. Bacon egg cheese-check! Taylor ham egg cheese-double check! More choices than expected so we’ll be back for sure!

After a short time of my favorite sandwich being only a few times every month or so the meatloaf is always on the menu and is well worth trip downtown! The staff is great and has been up to the task always and especially during this time of craziness! Thanks for the great sandwiches guys!

We had lunch at this cafe. It was a delicious bacon bagel and blt. The kids loved their bagels and the blt was so good. Definitely a wonderful place for lunch. They also have a small selection of Olympic mountain ice cream.
