Food was nasty, quality was poor! The works however were great. Salad was $12.99 and was a mini salad! This is not buddy’s so if you looking for the Buddy’s experience do NOT come here

Service was great. Rhonda the assistant manager is amazing. Second time I’ve had the pleasure of encountering her. She is so kind to the kids and really try’s to please the customers. But I’m shocked this being a buddy’s location. Like other reviews, I don’t understand why they don’t get the premade ones like they have it Randazzos and serve those. Pizza is not the same. Expensive of course, it’s at the zoo! But my first pizza was extremely undercooked. Second thin crust. I’ll be bring lunch next time I take my son to the zoo. Or I’m trying the coney location. Has to be something decent to eat at the zoo.

Fast turnaround between ordering and receiving our food, which came out lukewarm but still very tasty. Staff were friendly and everything was clean.

Wasn’t very customer service oriented. Foods taste didn’t match up with price, below adequate taste for overpricing. Would not ever recommend.

We stopped in there yesterday at 3:10pm. They rudely told our group of seven adults that the kitchen was closed and they only had individual slices available because they close at 4pm.

Insanely noisy. Zero sound deadening. Pizza was soggy, clearly not made fresh. It would be nice if they charged the same as other buddy’s locations.

The salad was “meant for 2”. Maybe 2 ants.

Ordered from grub hub. Pizza salad and bread. The meat on the salad tasted spoiled and off. The pizza was ok. The boyfriend liked the bread sticks. Haven’t had Buddy’s in sometime and will never again. The worst 50 I ever spent. Use to love it years ago.

This location is within the Detroit Zoo.

We just wanted 5 slices but the price for 5 came close to a full-size (8 squares), so why not? We didn’t get a receipt (physical or email) but the buzzy thing only. It did take a while, and with 6 kids, it seemed like forever. I did have to verify our order was processing.

This pizza was AMAZING. It was so hot out of the oven, I went through 2 plastic knives that WARPED from the heat. The tomato flavor was just pungent, just delicious The pepperoni was spicy for the older kids; the 2 year old gobbled it up. I’ve never had to twirl cheese until now, and it was extremely satisfying.

I honestly don’t know what the fuss is about pizza. And Husband is New Jersey Italian, so that’s blasphemy. But Buddy’s Pizza at the Detroit Zoo pizza is a home run right here.

Tables might be sparse for big parties. Bathrooms are not in the building. Staff seemed a little vacant but pulled through for everything we asked for.

Ordered gluten free pizza listed on the menu, waited 40 minutes. Decided to check in on the order with the hostess and they didn’t think to tell us they don’t actually sell gluten free pizza and that only management can remove it from the menu. They didn’t even start working on the regular pizza my Completely ruined our plans for the zoo for the day as we had to spend another 45 minutes finding other food. All they offered was to refund us as well.
