The crown jewel restaurant of Berkeley Springs! Took my wife here for her birthday and was not disappointed! Call ahead to make a reservation. Mary was very attentive and greeted us with a smile. The staff were great and the food + atmosphere was amazing. Honestly had the best carrot cake of my life here (I’m not kidding, we shared one and ordered another to go). The appetizers and entree’s did not disappoint. Already looking forward to returning next year!

This place is a wonderful treasure. Let’s start with food. We ordered focaccia, chickpea curry and a Buddha bowl with some refreshing drinks. Everything was delicious, fresh, cooked with love and good quality ingredients. Mary and her staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s a small business so there can be a bit of wait but they will let you know how long the wait might be. It’s worth the wait though. There is another amazing business at the back, a tea shop so you can wander and buy clothes and tea while you wait. Despite being full we also ordered a wonderful chocolate cake home made with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The owners are welcoming and lovely. It’s a must go!!!

Nestled in the heart of Berkeley Springs, this place is a hidden gem.
From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance of the restaurant welcomed me like I was back to my roots.
The service was unmatched; attentive and warm, it made the day feel special. We heard guest at another table speak highly of the place and of the chef.
The food served here is a true masterpiece – each dish is not only beautifully presented but also boasts innovative flavor combinations that tantalize the taste buds. It’s clear that the chef’s passion and skill shine through in every aspect of the dining experience, making each meal truly unforgettable.
>What we ordered:
Mango Spritzer, Strawberry lemonade spritzer, Chickpea Masala, focaccia bread, avocado rolls, samosas, paratha bread pumpkin cake, carrot cake and sweet potato/ PB brownie.
Note: EVERYTHING IS MADE FROM SCRATCH- it’s not your fast food chain where it comes out in 5mins..
I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for BOLD flavors.

I stayed near Berkeley Springs for a long weekend and just happened to be walking down the main street sidewalk, where on the corner was a sign with daily (vegan) specials. I made the turn and I’m so glad I did!
As soon as I walked in, Mary came out to greet me…she is the type of person who can make anyone feel instantly comfortable. And the food…wow! I had what I think was the Buddha bowl with sweet potatoes, chickpeas in the most amazing smooth curry sauce.
While talking to Mary she mentioned the next day she would be serving her avocado spring roles with spicy cabbage slaw…so I knew what I had to do: go back the next day. Glad I did! Very bright and crispy!
Also had a carrot soup with turnips.
The focaccia bread and naan were both excellent.
Can’t say enough good things about Mary and her cafe…I’ll be stopping by again at some point in the future!

Hubs and I stopped in for lunch on my birthday weekend getaway, slightly apprehensive after several bad meals in town – this was THE highlight! We’ve eaten veg meals around the world and this easily competes with some of the best we’ve ever had. It’s Just absolutely delicious, and Mary is a delight. Her spritz with infused honey and ice cubes is utterly restorative and tasty, as is the peach apricot tea. Don’t pass on the veg dumplings, insanely good with her homemade kimchi. Hubs (full carnivore, btw) got the chickpea masala and proclaimed it one of the best he’s ever had. I got the Filipino pancit noodles, and the broth and tender veg will literally cure whatever ails you, exceptionally flavorful and warming. We passed on dessert sadly because 1, we were stuffed, and 2, I had birthday cake at the hotel, but everything looked and sounded amazing. Mary herself waited on us, and she’s so kind, and generous with her story, you’ll want to come back for her alone. But this spot is 100% worth going out of your way for, a gem of a restaurant, vegetarian or otherwise. It’s worth noting she has a second kitchen that enables adding local meats or seafood options to some dishes, should you be wary to go full veg. But the meat wasn’t missed whatsoever. Support this spot, it’s a keeper!!

I was visiting the area for the first time. I’m mostly a meat and potatoes gal but the locals raved about Mary and her food. I’m so glad I went. The Indian curry was flavorful and just delicious. The dumplings were the best I’ve ever had. The wrapper was light and delicate and the accompaniments added so much flavor. I didn’t feel heavy after eating several. So, so good. I feel like I got a meal from a 5 star chef without the 5 star price tag. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

Definitely a dining highlight for our first-time visit to this adorable little cafe. It’s a small space, but the cuisine and atmosphere for a relaxing lunch was outstanding. Mary is super friendly and her dishes delicious. She took time to talk to folks and even gave us a nice little tour of the space. Perfect refreshing late lunch spot after a hot dip in the springs.

We’ve been travelling for work thru MD and just made it to Berkeley Springs — some of the best food we’ve had in mos.– fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. Really enjoyed. Especially loved the butter bean dish. Didn’t try the desserts yet but will have to come back.

Wow- this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I was in town for a week and had to eat here a few times because it was so delicious. It is obvious that Mary is dedicated to serving fresh, high quality food- and she is a genius in the kitchen. Don’t miss it! Avocado egg rolls are mouth watering- and everything else I tried too. I even brought a meat lover with me the 2nd time and he was wow’d as well. Thank you, Mary!

We stopped in Berkeley Springs today on the way from Virginia and found this place just walking by the menu board. Total gem! We had the Chick Pea Masala (pic) with jasmine rice, sweet potatoes and fresh cilantro, and the Beet Reuben on marbled rye with sweet potato fries (done perfectly) both were absolutely amazing! Also had her traditional Samosas with mango chutney and a cilantro-mint dipping sauce. Drinks were Strawberry Dragon Fruit Pink Lemonade and Orange Mint Spritzer, which were so refreshing. You can just tell that all her stuff is scratch-made, and her menu items are so creative and unique! Mary opened this restaurant last October and seems to be doing well. We were so lucky to have found her restaurant in Berkeley Springs. If you are passing through, please support her and stop for a delicious meal there. You will not be disappointed!
