Walked to Mars during the snowstorm this past weekend for a drink with my fiancé. I asked for an espresso martini and at first they said they don’t have espresso. But then the owner was able to find some and curate one of the most delicious espresso martinis I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot in northeast Ohio). Will definitely be coming back!!

I stopped by Mars Bar & Café, a great dive bar with a jukebox in the Lakewood area, which serves some of my favorite chicken wings in Cleveland. Mostly locals hang out here, but I still like this place. Cheap drinks and good atmosphere.

I have lived in Lakewood for 25 years and I admit this is the 1st time I’ve ever been in the Mars bar. I would have to say that it’s definitely cuter on the outside then the inside. I’m not a person who tends to go to bars, but I had heard they had really good burgers. The burger WAS one of the absolutely best cooked burgers in ALL of Cleveland. It actually came out pink in the middle and hot!!!!! The fries were actually crispy!!!

Sadly the service here is horrendous. I would advise against eating in. I just watched two tables come in after my table and order after my table and get served prior to mine. This is not my first foray with bad service here. It is sad because the food is typically decent. When concerns were brought up to the waitress we were met with excuses. I will no longer be patronizing this establishment.

Came in for some late night eats and certain items weren’t available. But Xavier in the kitchen made an exception for us. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate that. And Emma, the bartender was so sweet and personable. Greeted us quickly and very helpful. These are the people that keep guests coming back. Please appreciate and acknowledge them.

Every time we stop here we are happy with the food. The bartenders are pleasant and attentive. This time, I ordered a “grown up” grilled cheese. Two cheeses w/ tomatoes and sauteed onions. Not on the menu and delicious!

Asked for my burger well done not burnt. It was burnt. Called up there got hung up on twice, one employee called me back, when it was suppose to be management. She was laughing and talking trash in the background said her name was Erin. They told me I had to come back up there mind you it’s 10 at night and 90 degrees. Then told me I had to send a email. It’s was such a horrible experience over a burger. Went back the next day did get another burger. But management still never contacted me. Erin or whoever need to be more mindful because people don’t play about they food or money.
