If you want honesty, I will give it to you. I felt cheated. I ordered two fish tacos and one shrimp taco. They were fairly decent size, however, there were two things I didn’t like, and the major issue is the amount of cake batter used on both the shrimp and the fish. If I’m being honest, it is approximately 90% cake batter, and 10% fish or shrimp. And it’s not even crunchy cake batter, it’s just slightly crunchy on the outside, but mostly just mush. I had to tear most of out and there was hardly any fish or shrimp in the taco, just a cake batter. if I order a fish or shrimp taco, I expect to get mostly fish or shrimp for the protein portion. In my fish taco, I got two small shrimps and mostly cake batter with a little bit of lettuce and marinated beets. The other thing I wasn’t too happy about it was the actual tortillas, they’re just a Standard Store baught Court tortillas that you can get at Walmart. I would give a rating of 1.5 stars out of five. The sauce wasn’t too bad, but the major concern is there’s hardly any protein. After I was done eating, my to-go box still had half the weight compared to when I first got it, and that’s all of that 90% cake batter.

So far fish tacos and campechanas are pretty good. It’s very hard to bring seafood freshness to North east because everything is farm raised. So flavor is key to make it just like the port of Ensenada. I hope these guys stay. To suppress my seafood cravings.
