Freshies originated in 2004 when our customers began requesting fresh food. Maine needed something different than the traditional convenience store, that went beyond just gasoline, tobacco, and beer. This led us to taking hold of the opportunity to reinvent ourselves into something new to better serve you, to reinvent ourselves into a program focused around fresh food and healthier options.

I would like to give like a negative but I’m not allowed. Such a rude lady working the register on Saturday morning 1/16 around 8:45. If you’re going to work with the public you can at least have a personality and be nice. Once I handed, well actually got a hand thrown at me for my ebt card I got a different attitude, like I was not worthy of her. Sorry lady but I do work a 40 hour work week and am proud to admit I use the ebt card.

Got a medium pizza tonight and it was absolutely amazing! Deli staff was upbeat and friendly, cashiers were very fast and friendly as well! I would highly recommend this store. It was also very clean and items were easy to find.

I called and ordered 2 large pizzas, one bacon breakfast and one pepperoni. I then left to get them and came back home, opened the box and saw there was maybe 5 little pieces of bacon on my pizza. I then called and respectfully asked the lady if she could remake it for and Nd offerwd to bring it back. She then told me no. I asked her why and said there is no bacon on this pizza and she told me that was standard amount of bacon to put on.. which is complete bs… i took pictures there is barely anything on it. It looks like they were too lazy to open more bacon and just threw on crumbs of an empty bag. She refused to make me another pizza, and told me i couldnt speak to a manager. I was ok with that part because im assuming the manager wasnt there at this time of night but she proceeded to refuse to help me or even offer something else. I would have brought it back. Obviously i eneded up starting to get irritated and mad and then she hung up on me. Will never order from here again especially when i was nicely asking for help to begin with.
