We’ve been twice now and it has been flawless every time. The snow crab is incredibly juicy, tender, and fresh. Honestly some of the best we’ve had.
We’ve been going to Crab Hut for many years and loved it, but Crab Pub has completely won us over. The quality and juiciness of the crab here truly stand out.
We ordered three pounds of snow crab and crab poppers with the garlic butter sauce, half medium spice, and it’s the perfect level of heat—flavorful, rich, and not overpowering.
Our server Hau suggested getting Cajun spice on the crab poppers, and that took them to a 10/10—bold, crispy, and absolutely perfect for sharing.
A huge shoutout to Hau, who has helped us both visits. He is an amazing server—super fast, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He’s never steered us wrong and is always so pleasant to chat with, which makes the experience even better.
Also worth mentioning: the bathrooms are spotless, a detail that really reflects how well this place is run.
Between the food quality, incredible service, and attention to detail, this is now our go-to seafood spot in Oceanside. Highly recommend. ✨

Headed in for the first time last week Sunday because my friend and I wanted Seafood Boil with minimal work. The spot wasn’t busy, we were seated immediately. The server was perfectly attentive without hovering. The food was delicious and while we were thinking we’d have to order more food, a dozen oysters, hush puppies, combo 2, and a pound of head on shrimp had us stuffed to the gills.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary about a year ago. We really liked it. The food was fantastic! We like the house spice blend “the pub style” at a half medium level. I recommend the 1 lb. shrimp boil and a half lb. of potatoes. The wife recommends the snow crab boil. We really like the crab pub and look forward to going back.

Very hard to give thos place a 4 star…. really wanted to give it a 3.5/3.8…. the reason I’ve determined that is because the shrimp was definitely overcooked…. to the point it was gritty/ chewy…. the Crab legs were on point… slightly overcooked too… but still delicious. The clams… same story. The hushpuppies were great… the flavors were amazing… I got spicy level of spicynous… I like spicy food and it was perfect. I just really wish they didn’t over cook my stuff. Paid about 180 including tip for 2… unsure if it’s worth it… maybe if you have a seafood craving you want to squash. I might go back. Service was great.

My first seafood boil in Cali. and I recommend this place . The Crab was good easy crack and pull… had the Pub style sauce that boy got a Lil kick to it even tho the spice lvl was mild still good. Everything came out great. The only takeaway was the sausage was only 4 little slices even though it just says “4” maybe better clarification. But still good experience. The price is pretty steep, so it is only an every so often kind of place unless your wallet can afford lol. Enjoy

Was a good crab bag with pork sausage, potatoes and corn. I got the Cajun seasoning and was supposed to be medium but it was hot. I like spicy but I wanted to taste the crab but my lips were burning. This did not take away from the good taste of the food. It was very light on business and the staff was on point with everything. Good place to try.

I had dinner here with my boyfriend last Saturday and it was great! We’ve been meaning to come here, but we always changed our plans. We had the fried shrimp with fries, lemonade, and the biggest seafood boil they offered with the pub sauce. It was so good and made me full! Service was 10/10, very attentive and soft-spoken. Very empty for a Saturday night, which was a pleasant surprise since the kbbq place next door was super packed so we assumed the worst. I would definitely come back again!

Been here a couple times always the same great taste. You can choose how spicy you want your food. Everything is cooked well. Big place for family. Recommend this place to everyone. If you are looking for a cajun spice around Oceanside this is the place to go. Alot of sides a sea food to choose from. The restaurant is big and clean every time ive been there alot of parking outside and its 10 minutes away from the beach.
